Calling all hangers - have I messed up?

I’ve been hanging for around one month using the bib hanger, I have been hanging 5.5lbs 3 x 20 mins per day, plus use of an ads for around 3-4 hours.

For the last week and a half I have been slacking due to holidays (vacations), I only managed to wear the hanger for 5-10 mins every other day and some days I missed totally, but I did manage to wear the ADS for around 45 mins on some occasions, though if there was a day I totally missed, I would have been stretching manually every chance I got for at least 20mins per day, there was always some form of stretch happening on the penis, was this enough to stop healing totally?

My question is this, have I totally messed up all the hard work I have started by not hanging for the same amount of time over this holiday time? Has my unit had time to heal all the micro tears I have created? Should I have stuck to a min of 1 hour per day?

Will I find it harder to hang now? Should I up the weight straight away to “shock” the penis back into micro tear mode?

I have been at the same weight for ages, I decided to up it, I am hanging 8.25lbs as we speak and I can hardly tell the difference, I don’t know why, but it seems lighter than the 5.5lbs, whats going on?

How should I proceed?

You haven’t created any micro tears hanging with 5.5 lbs, tunica albuginea is far stronger than you believe.

What about the ligs?, I’ve been hanging mostly SD.

But regardless of that, what I meant to say is have I undone all the hard work by not sticking to the same amount of hanging time?

I think your concern is valid in that if you hang and then completely heal all you’ve done is create stronger ligs and tunica. However, I think while microtears begin to heal in a day or so, they are not full strength for a while. If you have ever had surgery they will tell you it takes 1 year for all remodeling of tissue to occur. However, probably 85 percent of it happens in the first month. I wouldn’t let weeks happen between hanging until you’ve cemented your gains but I think days are ok. I think Marinera is right in that 5.5 pounds may not have created microtears yet but probably stretched ligaments some. I think you will be fine. I’ve been experimenting with hanging a few months and have thought the same question too. I go days between sessions because I have too and it seems like as long as I wear the ADS and start up again at same weight I’m ok.

Your tunica albuginea is like tendon. It is extremely strong: 5.5 lbs, or 10 lbs, will not cause any significative micro tears. But even if you had micro tears, they wouldn’t make a big difference as far as chances of future gains: those who do weigth lifting, do they become unable to gain flexibility through stretching?

So making micro tears in the tunica doesn’t help gains? Is that what your saying big m?

The best way to go should be re-starting your routine and rebuild it to way you were before
