X4 question

I’d asked in another thread, but I figure to get an answer I should put it up as it’s own question.

Anybody know what material the X4’s plastic parts are?
I’d like to reshape the base for a better fit, but I’m not sure what temperature it would have to be to get it soft, assuming it’s a material that can even do that.

My guess is TPE or UHMW, but it doesn’t say anywhere on the product.
I tried emailing the company; no response.

I’m assuming it’s an injection mould die process. Which means it ‘should’ be able to be heated and distorted how you see fit.

UHMW, which is a great material, can’t be injection molded. Instead it’s more of a powder that is compressed in a mold under heat and high pressure.

If it’s UHMW, then I don’t stand much of a chance to reshape it without ruining the product.

DHPE, on the other hand is much more workable.
