Are rest days required when using ADS, or Penis Extender

I heard that “It is during the rest day that your penis does it’s growing”. Does this apply to ADS and penis extenders as well? People usually talk about rest days when they do jelq exercises or manual stretches, but they never talk about rest days when they use an ADS or penis extender. If penis grows during rest periods then I can only assume this apply to any kind of penis enlargement method?

Not to ADS/extender, because the tension is (should be) too low. If you feel that you need a day off, anyway, take it.

I use an ADS regularly and I think it’s ok to use everyday; although if you can’t one day, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Who knows, maybe that rest is actually good for you.

Yeah Alin, I was wearing the ADS for about 10 days and then my penis was feeling abit sore. So I took a day off, and I was still feeling sore. So I took 2 days off, and I was completely healed. After 2 days rest, I put the ADS on and I noticed that the tension was loose, so I had to increase tension. So that means I must have grown because during the 10 days I was the wearing the ADS, the tension stayed same.

I just wanted to confirm if you actually grow on rest days, or was it just a coincidence. But I haven’t seen any post from anyone who uses an ADS/penis extender and takes day off ie. 5 days on 2 days off, 3 days on 1 day off, etc.

You grow when you rest, whether it’s one night while you sleep or a couple of days, as long as you’re resting you’re growing to some extent. The harder you train ad the longer you train for will require you to have a longer rest period.

Some had the same experience. Rest days are actually important; given that ADS and extenders use very low tension, instead than taking planned days off some take some day off when they notice that their penis is becoming kinda more hard to extend.

I always suggest to take at least 1 day off per week, whatever you do. It is good for your nervous system and can’t delay gains in anyway. There are other schools of thoughts, tough.

Really? That is contrary to plastic deformation theories, is it not?

Certainly if you’re using heat, I’ve read a study that suggests collagen re-arrangment occurs while tissue cools while still in the elongated state. So you may continue to heal while resting, but I don’t know if you’d actually be growing.

Marinera, what do you call a very low tension in lbs or grams? I’m using ADS, so is 5 days on 2 days off, better than say.. 8 days on 2 days off?

Ok, what kind of ADS are you using?

Extenders use tension that are generally in the 250 g - 2 kg range. For most of time they are used with a tension around 1 kg.

I think 6 on /1 off is a good scheme with extenders/ADS; but mostly you should be guided by your feeling : as said, if you notice that your penis requires more force to be pulled at a given length, then consider to take a day off.

Jelqs are the best thing to do hand in hand with wearing an extender, IMO.

The ADS which I try to wear 8+ hours, it attaches to the leg (below the knee) to the penis with a noose. I wrapped the noose with 2 comfort strips. Even though it’s comfortable, I’m looking for an even softer noose because I still get sore after a few days. At the moment I’m on 1.65lbs (750 grams) tension. I measure the tension with a fish scale. I’m gradually increasing the tension every week.

I’ve been told by someone that if I take frequent rest days, then I will get more girth gains and less length gains, with the ADS. If I don’t take rest days, then more length gains and less girth gains. What’s the science behind this?

A noose attached to a leg?! No no, not a good idea. You can mak a vac cap, or even buy it for a few dollars on ebay.

None. Girth and length are generally achieved by different exercises. ADS will do near nothing for your girth.

No days off are necessary. Interesting idea about the low pressure… I’ve always stretched it out fairly strong while using ADS. Granted, I’ve stretched too hard before!

Anyone else here who uses noose ADS or penis extender thinks it’s safe/unsafe?
