Are rest days required when using ADS, or Penis Extender

Certainly if you’re using heat, I’ve read a study that suggests collagen re-arrangement occurs while tissue cools while still in the elongated state. So you may continue to heal while resting, but I don’t know if you’d actually be growing.

Hello, I’m new to the site, but been doing PE on and off for a few years. I’ve got the size genetics extender, I use it every single day and I always jack up the tension to the max on my ‘workout days’

I have the jelq device too and I jelq for about 20-45 mins 3 or 4 times per day. Then immediately put the extender on after jelqing. During my last two jelqing sessions I’ll jelq for a shorter amount of time then my earlier sessions, and put on the extender with absolutely no tension to warm down a few hours for the evening. I wear the extender for no less than 8 hours per day with max tension, and sometimes up to 16 hours per day (12-14 on max tension and 2-4 with no tension)

On my rest days I still wear my extender for up to 14-16 hours but with no tension and I won’t jelq except at the end of the day for about 5 mins or less with my jelq device, just to relax it, like giving it a gentle “back massage” to relax the smooth muscles and increase my EQ during the night.

Okay during my workout days I don’t go by the week or month. I will work it out 1 day on and two days rest. And just keep working out like that.

I do take many supplements and also wear a ballsack extender along with my size genetics during my rest days to further stretch out and relax the smooth muscles through out my entire package.

How I wear it with no tension is I will stretch out my flaccid size and size the extender according to my flaccid length, maybe a little bit less. With max tension it is usually about an inch and a few millimeters longer than my extended flaccid size. During the day if I notice the tension lessens, I always adjust it accordingly to keep it on max tension.

I also have a fleshlight with which I use for ballooning and edging whenever I completely take a break from my PE routine. (Kinda like active recovery I guess, I also plan to use it for maintence after I reached my size goals, to keep it ballooned up.) I will probably use it for clamping sessions too, but I don’t wanna get too fat where I can’t fit into my extender. I’m going for length gains first then girth.

Well so far I’ve been doing it on and off since January this year and noticed about a full inch growth in length and a very slight increase in base girth (about 3 millimeters) and noticed a slight increase with mid-shaft and head girth, about 5 millimeters or 0.25 inch at the most around mid shaft and head.

But every week (I been doing this routine solid now for about 3 weeks now) I do notice a much fuller feeling around my shaft and sometimes I do notice more length, depending on my EQ.

I never do hand jelqing sessions, except after I use the washroom to get the blood flowing through again, or whenever I need to take a break from the extender during the day. (I use athletic tape and grip tape over the head with Johnson and Johnson’s hurt free tape custom made with athletic tape so I can get a good grip around the grip and athletic tape on my head to increase tension, I also don’t use the factory straps. There junk, I use a velcro strap I bought at Walmart to secure the head in place and it works so great!

But one thing is for sure, I can wear my extender for 5 hours solid before I feel any discomfort. Mostly even with max tension It really doesn’t bother me. After that I usually need to take it off and dry jelq it (with the tapes still on) for about a minute or so. Than I’m good to go for about every 2 hours, then to about every 30 minutes before I need to massage it.

One thing that helps though is using polysporin to rub onto the skin beneath the head, it actually stops the discomfort. But it sometimes renders the tape useless if it gets messy. Won’t stick anymore, and I also use polysporin every night for 5 nights a week. It really heals the skin damage on the head from using the tape.

I’m sorry to cause confusion, I mean this routine I’ve been doing since january (When I bought my extender and Jelq device.)

Before that I was just randomly dry hand jelqing, I didn’t know about PE I just did it by instinct, noticing it feeling fuller after a few days of doing it. But never really kept a solid regimen.

Growth happens but I never said it would be noticeable. It might only be 1/100 of an inch but because of proper training stimulus there will always be an increase however large or minute.

It seems like the general consensus on TP is if you can’t see it growing then it’s not and with all the 0.25”-0.5” growth people experience in short periods it’s understandable. Our views on growth are distorted by these huge claims and I’d say it’s one of many factors that turn people off from sticking to a routine. They think because they haven’t gained anything noticeable they assume nothing has happened at all and so give up.

Repair would take it to it’s original state with no change, growth is exactly what it says, growth. With proper training stimulus and rest your penis should repair itself and in response to the training it should grow.

I think either way with an extender used on workout days with tension they should also be used on rest days with absolutely no tension at all, so it can heal or repair in an extended state anyways.

When I mean use it on rest days I mean stretch out your flaccid maximum length and adjust the extender to maybe a 1/4 or half inch shorter than your stretched flaccid. So it really has zero tension and it’s not fully extended but somewhat extended anyways all day.

An alternative to wearing a “relaxed” extender for rest, is to have a couple of Monkeybars “autoxleeves” and use that to keep somewhat extended.

I find the use of Aspercreme for irritated tissues (read that as a Cranky Peter) does wonders. Not for those who are allergic to Aspirin.

Hpw much time off do you usually take from PE to see the new gains ?

I’m new to PE and traction devices, do you guys generally wear your extenders straight for 6-8 hours? I notice my glands begins to cool quite significantly after about 30 mins so I generally take it off and work some blood into before trying it again. Can anyone suggest a good starter routine to use? I’m attempting to remove a curve, as opposed to gaining length if that matters. Thanks again

Curve removal?

The traction device approach will not likely fix this; regardless of any advertising claims you may have read.

I should begin by saying curves are normal. This is because the body is based on the principle of bi-lateral symmetry but is imperfect, as we all tend to have a dominant side. This applies to the penis as well, one side of the two chambers of corpus cavernosum will likely be slightly larger than the other side - just as is true throughout your body (Don’t believe me? Check out your thumbs right now. One is slightly bigger than other.). The difference in the size of the two chambers of corpus cavernosum is what results in a curve; one side fills up with more blood than the other and your penis tilts accordingly.

100% normal.

There are some folks where this disparity is highly exaggerated and the remedy for this is erect bends, which have to be done WITH EXTREME CARE. The penis is most vulnerable to injury when erect and you can really, PERMANENTLY, hurt yourself with this practice if you don’t know what you’re doing. Bends have to be done a little at a time (and by “a little” I mean a very little) and held for 20-30 seconds. This practice has to be done incrementally and will take a long time to work. Slow and steady wins the race; but even so the adjustments you can make this way are very, very small. If the curve is severe you will need to take many many months (possibly years), and it is unlikely you will eliminate the curve completely.

One, somewhat safer solution is to get a raging hard-on and place the erection in a pumping tube to straighten it out. The tube should be quite snug, and the pumping aspect is optional; the main focus is on straightening bend. This approach takes the margin for error and minimizes it, but even so everything I said above still applies.

It should be said that most curves are not extreme, have no impact on the quality of the erection or one’s ability to satisfy a partner.
