why I have to stop PE and a suggestion

Hi, I am a Newbie. Was into PE for 5 weeks. After PE for a few days (jelqing, manual stretching, nothing else) I had erection problems twice. I am hundred per cent sure that they were at least in the beginning physical and not psychological. The first time it took me 4 days to get back my erections. This time about 8 days. Since I am in a good relationship and although I really want to increase my penis size (6.25 bpel, 5.5-5.575 nbel and 4.5 girth) I cannot and don’t want to risk the health of my penis.

I know that some of you think that this PE forum is some kind of secret man club. In my opinion many of us, especially those who are under-endowed, are not happy with this feature of there body which makes them feel uncomfortable and reduces the quality of our lives significantly. In my opinion there would be nothing wrong about finding a procedure which helps every man who feels uncomfortable with the size of his penis and which is broadly accessable. This ‘dream’ would resolve one of the big or small problems of men.

What I want to suggest is that we write, for example in an anonymous mass-email, to the society of andrology or another scientific institution the suggestion to create, as a first step, an anonymous internet working group with some experienced PEer of us and some scientists of them to conduct some serious research on what the effects of PE are on our penis.

I would appreciate some thoughts of you and please appologize for my grammar since I am not a native english speaker.

a study would be interesting but you are at a great minority here as far as dysfunction and PE are concerned. Most of the men in these forums that have trained for many months report the opposite views, myself included, with harder erections. I am curious to why PE has effected you this way and what physical attributes, if any, are responsible for this dysfunction.

I’d be interested in hearing more details on this too. I’ve seen very few others report negative side effects from PE. If there were negative side effects…they were always self inflicted. Jelqing way too hard, using too much weight the wrong way, something to that effect. Then again, good luck….no matter the guys nationality….a lot of times guys like this wont admit they might have done something wrong…only that PE is just too dangerous from their experience.

Maybe I did something wrong. I don’t know that. That’s why I am looking for solutions. A study would also help non and slow gainers. I think if we ask for a scientific study as a big group they cannot ignore us. It would help to find out which way it works, why only some of us gain, how to optimize gains, how to avoid injuries. My suggestion is to make the next step. The number of men trying PE is growing permanently. The Internet makes it possible. The Internet also makes it possible that we can form an interest group which might enables us to get the support we need.

I certainly can discuss with you my problems with my erections. We can do that in another thread. Maybe this helps others with a similar problem. But in this thread I again want to ask the question why not take the next step and ask as a group for a serious scientific study. My idea, which is just a first suggestion, is to initially make an anonymous working group which defines the method and rules of such a study. The aim is to gain knowledge without injuring the privacy of those guys who are willing to participate but not want to give up anonymity.

I’m getting old (63) and I started PE’ing to see if I could get firmer and lasting erections. Kegels seem to be the thing for me, since doing them (as frequently as I remember to do them) my erections are much better. Do you do kegels? If not you should do them, I’m sure they will help.

What I never knew, I never will forget!

This was not a kegel problem. I had no or only sloppy morning erections and was not able to get a real erection during the day/night.

But I want again ask you to discuss with me the question of whether you would also be interested to enter into a serious study. If you think this would be a waste of time or you are not interested, or something else than please tell me. I will accept that.

I dont want to discuss the problem of my erection problems in this thread. I’m willing to do this in another one. I just dont want to mix up things. Thanks for your understanding. I will post a detailed description of my erection problems in the injury forum in the next days.

It is not the size of the group demanding the study, it is the size of the groups’ wallet. A large group with no financial support (or no carrot for the medical donkey) will not get as far as a small group with a large amount of financial backing.

I do see what you would like to happen, but chances are your suggestion to contact scientific groups, with a number so great as ours, the media would get wind. The last thing I want is for all of this to become main stream and a media frenzy. I consider this, and I bet many here do also, as our “edge” if you will over the rest of the population that has not worked as hard as we have to find an answer to our problem. In my opinion if you work hard enough to find an answer to your problem you deserve to reap the benifits of what you find. I would HATE to see this website advertised on on tv and be the next big thing. Could be my greed….

It sounds like you hurt yourself, you should take a couple of months off and than start back slow with only jelqing and no squeezes or stretching. A lot of guys can over train and there dicks become too overworked to get a good hard on. What ever you decide good luck.
I already did my own study on myself I have been at for 2.5 years and my hard on is the best it’s ever been. I have over trained from time to time and have been to pooped to pop but a little rest and good as new.

I’m not sure if it was this board or another PE board — can’t really remember right now — about a couple guys who had had the penis enhancement surgery. After their surgeries, it was prescribed that they do stretches and hanging on the penis to facilitate gains.

Now, while this may not be an open endorsement by the AMA about manual penis enhancement, why would these guys be told by their doctors to do these exercises if they were potentially harmful?

I think you have to expect some soreness and initial erection problems when you start. I initially overdid at first, had some soreness, but I took time off, read a lot of the posts here and at other PE forums, healed and now found a routine that works for me.

I remember in my younger days, spending like an entire Saturday, and maybe even Sunday, with my lady in bed, screwing our brains out, and feeling on Monday like my dick was going to fall off, and thinking, the last thing I want to do or even be able to do is have an erection — God, I miss those days. Basically, that’s what my penis felt like the first few weeks of PE’ing.

But, take some time off to heal, read through this and other PE forums, and if you decide to do it again, take it slower this time.

I read the discussion with largosomnia. I would agree on the argument of the other members that it is not necessesary to create a global forum. It is absolutely fine to have different forums. However, if the forums have a common interest in a special goal which is easier to achieve together it might would make sense to coordinate in that special matter. This can easily be done by, for example, posting the topic in that other forum.

My approach is a bit different. What we are already doing is a form of field research. We try various forms of PE and look what happens. Most start, for example with the beginner routine of luvdadus. After a while we start varying the routine and are trying to find a routine which works best for us. We use the input of other forum members and we try to contribute to the forum what we have learned. That is excellent! It creates knowledge.

However, there are still a lot of things we dont know. Why does it work for some and for others not. Why do some gain fast whereas others very slow. It is easy to say that that is just the result of different human physiology. I think if it is possible to prove scientifically, in a first step, that non-surgical penis enlargement is possible without enormous risks and this prove is given by a widely accepted institution this would be an important step into the right direction. In a next step it would be possible to look how we can achieve the best results for all of us.

Concerning the money argument I agree. It would be much easier to find an institution which is willing to do the research if we had much money to spent. However, we have to fight with the weapons we have. It does not take much time and is not very expensive to ask potential research partners as a group whether they would be prepared to work together with us. I believe there are also some researchers in the sexuality field who are not only interested in money but also in scientific progress. Moreover, I think that positive results in this field would make that guy famous and put him on the front cover of the time magazine.

So again: Why not trying it? We should use all our possibilities to make progress. There is little risk but much to gain.

Firstly, everybody who searches the internet for penis size or penis enlargement finds the paysites within a second and after a while he will find the free forums. This is no big secret!

Secondly, because everybody knows how to increase penis size, this does not make it easy to get the penis of your dreams. Although science can show you how to train your body optimally not everyone can run a marathon. You still need a lot of persistance to achieve your goals. There are thousands of diets. However, it is still difficult for many of us to reach the weight we want to have. Nevertheless, it is good to know that it is achievable and to give those who want to achieve a goal the best possible guidelines. These forums are a good start in this direction but it is maybe possible to look at a guys physiology and then create an individual training plan for him. Serious research could help many of us.

Thirdly, I really wish that you all get the dicks you want. I am not looking for an advantage but to get rid of a disadvantage. If penis size is not an issue anymore and if I feel comfortable with mine my problem is solved.

What is the problem if the media gets wind. Things change faster if people are aware of them.

I am too tired coming home from the gym, but I want to say I that I could not disagree with you more. I feel exactly like Tigerbass does, why would it be worth it to have an 8” cock if everyone did? I like to look at it like Fight Club, if you are lucky enough to find the right place(ie Thunder’s), you will see the light. That is all, I don’t need to say anymore because Tiger said exactly verbatim what I would have.

You can see the “mainstream” slowly catching on to PE… but it’s in the form of pills and quick fixes. It’s just a matter of time, anyway. As you may or may not realize, NOTHING is sacred, or remains sacred at least.

Even if everyone had an eight incher, I would still want to have one anyway. Why should they have all the fun? The way I approach PE is for my own confidence and to make sex better for ME. Making the woman feel good is a welcome side effect, but it’s for my own self image. I just wish I was one of those “fast gainers”.

yeah, but wouldn’t you feel better to be bigger than most? I work that way, maybe its immature, but that’s why my goal is to be 225 and 7%bf. I am now 196 11% and 5’10, but will reach my goal there and hopefully in PE. Contrary to the wimpy old saying, bigger IS better.
