Five inches is MUCH more common in my experience than eight. I think 6 is overstating the average. Starting at 6 inches, I have seen that more guys’ dicks were smaller than me than bigger. And I have seen plenty of dick. (I might be seeing a reverse selection bias though. There are those gay men who are only interested in a big dick. I could care less about size, so maybe smaller guys who aren’t hooking up with the size queens are more likely to hook up with me.)

But since I have been PEing, I’m better at measuring with my hands. In the last six months, I’ve only seen one 8 inch dick. That means they aren’t even a little bit common.

In your experience, what is the average girth? Can you give us a qualitative description of the distribution? For example (“I am 5 inches girth, about half the guys are smaller and half bigger, but I’ve seen more outliers on the big/small end”.) Something like that, if possible. Thanks.

Creepy but I suppose useful. Aside from size, it’s amazing how many ugly penises there are. Or how ugly penises are. Or whatever. It’s also interesting that several of the people posting their pictures have included grossly inaccurate (and overestimated) sizes. I wonder if it is perfidy or the discrepancy between people measuring BPEL and those not.

Ok, I looked at some of those pictures and I don’t know how they confirmed the sizes, but it appears I do have somewhat of a distorted view since the guys who are actually 4.5 seem (in those photos) to be about the same size as me, but as I said, I am 5.75 nbp on a good day.

I have recently had a long discussion with this Gay guy who reckons he has slept with about 200 to 300 men. He also admits to being a size queen and sometimes seeking out men with larger penises.

This is what he told me: 8ins plus length would be a big cock and are few and far between. He has seen lots of 6 ins and 7ins. He reckons the average is around 6ins. I asked what proportion of men would be 5ins or below and he estimated 20 - 30%. He has seen a handful of 4ins cocks.

He told me he has a 5ins girth and reckoned that approx 25% to 30% of men were less that than. Which would suggest the average girth may be a tad higher that 5ins.

This is what he has seen, it doesn’t mean of course that it’s average. But it does give some idea. He did add that many gay men are obsessed with size so the smaller guys probably have less sex.

67% of people (roughly) fall within the 5-7” range, and make up the majority of men. It’s the ones towards the extreme ends of the distribution that get mentioned more often (“small” penises and “big” penises) because they’re unusual. This, as well as a selection bias towards bigger penises ending up online more, and anecdotal experiences tend to create the illusion of giant dicks lurking around every corner.

Currently (September 2010): 8.5x5.75 (6.25 inch head girth)

Girth is harder for me to measure. I can guess length based on how wide my hand is, two hands is seven inches. Girth I can only really say how many are thicker or thinner. And that’s not very consistent.

I would say that I’m thinner than a lot of guys I have hooked up with. Not by much, but a little. That would put the average at 5 or just above.

On the other hand, I’ve heard many times that my dick is thick. Never long, but I hear that its fat all the time. Which would make me think I’m above average girth. So the average would be below 5 inches.

The only thing I can say for sure is that men are lousy at estimating girth. :-)

Northmiamitop, Mind me asking approx how many men have you seen ?

Years ago, when I had multiple female partners I was told by several that I was thicker than average, and I was just over 5” circumference then.
