Actually I never really went on a newbie routine. I started jelqing for about 1 month and then learned about ULI squeezes and then eventually learned of Horse440s. I am not suggesting doing this but I did get results.

I did 700 fast jelqs the first month and then switch over to 300 5 second jelqs-very strong and slow.
