When is the best time to measure to get the most accurate information? Shoudl it be right before a workout? On an off day? Later on the day of a workout? Right after a workout?

I ask because when I measured the other day it was shorter than the measurement before. I have been very consistent with regular stretching and jelquing so I know I should not be losing.

Starting BPEL 5 7/8 inches——-current 6 inches
Starting girth 4 3/4 inches——-current almost 5 inches


It keeps fluctuating so damn much that you’ll drive yourself crazy if you measure too often. Just choose one time and consistently measure at that time. For immediate gains, I would say at the end of a session.

For longer term gains, before a session after a lay-off. Sometimes it does shrink—but that’s only temporary. Don’t worry about it. Think in terms of weeks, months, years?

I kinda thought measuring once a week was too much. Thanks for the guidance.

I measure on rest days so my unit isn’t full of lymph at the time for girth measuring, because that can vary.

“Once a month, at least a day after your last workout and before your workout on measuring day” is what I recommend. Measuring too often leads to disappointment.

I measured quite often, but then I realiced that if I measure every day and I think that my dick is going to grow every day, I would be at 20” or more… Now I measure once a month.

I do as westla suggests, except that I’ve been measuring weekly. He’s right about disappointments. I’ve had weeks where I haven’t gained and it can be frustrating. I do think that during the newbie gain period I think it can be good to measure weekly because you’re still trying to convince yourself that the time you’re spending is worthwhile. My plan is to change measuring to monthly once I get my first official inch in length.

Certainly measuring within hours after a workout is illusory. Mine is an extra 1/4” at those times.

*I measure PRE-WORKOUT, normal erection* Started: 7 EBP x 4.9 EG. Several years on and off PE, now 8.125 EBP length x 5.5 EG midshaft (5.8 base). Working on girth (clamping) again after breaks due to injuries - fast recent gains! Pics
