LOT clarification after a "lot" of reading

LOT clarification after a "lot" of reading

hi there, my name is ren and this is actually my first post here… so please forgive any newbie-ness here… anyways, i’ve been reading quite a bit and searching around the net for a short while on the topic of PEing… and this LOT topic has gotten under my skin because it’s such an interesting puzzle… ok, so let’s see if i got this straight…

if you stretch your penis out and kegel/PC, you’ll feel a “tug back” and you can measure the tightness of your ligaments by taking your tugback test at a spectrum of positions from 12 (straight up, on the belly) down to 6 (hanging, stretched, between your legs) and the point where you lose the sensation of the tugback is your “LOT” (loss of tugback)?

ok… now, the theory hinges on the idea that your kegeling will pull back your core, your tunica (the penis) and that’s what you feel but at the point when/where your ligaments are angled in such a way that they take over the stress of the pull, and ground it into their anchors (bone?) you can’t feel it in your core anymore (that’s LOT)…

and, knowing that when this happens up higher, perhaps between 12 and 9 (being straight forward, perpendicular to your body), or even a bit lower (above 6)… you have tight-er ligaments (ligs) and can still gain some length by stretching your ligs specifically?

but when you feel the tugback all the way down to 6, you know that your ligs are already about as loose as they are going to get (because they never quite angle right to take or anchor the PC/kegel pull) and therefore you should focus more on tunica stimulation, stretching and growth?

do i have this right? people keep asking about it but i never quite get it from my searches and the readings of the original post/thread… i am also wondering, doesn’t just about any thorough stretching program (that works the major angles) hit the ligs and you wouldn’t really need to worry about it unless you are a “hard gainer” or just looking for that extra edge? and wouldn’t it be better to keep the gains proportionate by working the ligs more slowly, if you have room to gain there (i could see that just being a personal preference)…

thanks for reading this and please let me know if it is even close to the original LOT theory…

Ren,

It sure sounds like you understand the LOT theory. From what I understand about the actual use of knowing what your LOT is, is that you have more information about your own body. Therefore you have an opportunity to focus on either the ligs or the tunica. Mainly to prevent you from continuing to do exercises that are designed to stretch teh ligs when they are already stretched adequately.
Many men experience “quick” gains from lig stretches, and then they hit a “plateau”, it is nice to know if the plateau is being caused by the ligs being stretched as far as they can without stretching the tunica, i.e. test your LOT. Some of the vets here are starting to see that the LOT changes as they make gains, and they use their LOT as an indicator of which area of the penis needs the most attention.
For a person just starting out with PE, spending 30 minutes to an hour a day working all area of the penis will usually make gains. For someone who has hit a plateau, and nothing seems to make the gains come, knowing what is happening with the LOT is very helpful.

WestLA90069,

I see what you mean and I will try to keep the lower case and dot-dot-dot out. My writing has just always been like that online but I am all for following the rules of this forum. Thanks for the heads-up!

I_want_8_inches,

Thank you for the quick feedback. Knowing your body and being smart about your exercises is sound advice considering that you could potentially waste a lot of time and energy. I’m not in a huge hurry but I would like to be as efficient as possible and some good, solid gains would help keep me motivated.

All in all, what do you guys think about the different schedules, 5 on - 2 off, 6 and 1 or even 1 and 1? I was thinking that even a Mon. Wed. Fri schedule with a 2 day weekend wouldn’t be too bad if you were really working it on the 3 days on. Is that too sparse to work? Right now I am doing a light load with a 6 and 1. But I may change that with the start of this next week (my third week in).

Renstimpski:
Thanks for posting your understanding of LOT. That is the same one I arrived at after reading everything. BIB’s explanations were accurate but sometimes it helps to have someone else put things into his own words.

I also asked the same question about a good schedule on my progress report. A friend suggested 3 on 1 off, but that doesn’t fit neatly into a 7 day week. This week I’m doing 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off. Hopefully an experienced PE guy will give us some guidance here.

I’m only in my first week.

ren,

You understand the LOT theory well, oh grasshopper. A lot of 8 is the usual cut off point - below this, tunica work is a preferred option.

As for the schedule, a set routine is good for beginners, to help them get into the exercises before PE ends up taking over your life (and it will). If you are hanging, try 5 on 2 off for a few weeks, if manual try 2 on 1 off for a few weeks. After you have experience with the moves, you will get a feel for what is good and bad. Then you can change to a dynamic schedule - take a rest day when you feel you need it, maybe due to an intense workout the day before, or maybe you felt something that didn’t feel ‘right’, and you take a day off out of precaution.

Good Luck

For a newbie, it isnt necessary to understand the Lot or even practise with him.
Only when i am longer in this game and the gain dont come anymore,i should learn and understand the Lot theory. Is it right.

Im asking, because i dont understand this Lot theory.
My english is not good enough to understand this.

Tomarctus,

I guess that once you start speaking in PE, it just starts to make a little more sense, yeah? Actually, it took a few readings of interpretations of what Bib wrote to understand what Bib meant, even if the interpretations themselves were ultimately a little bit off. I’m sure mine still is. Maybe it’s just the way we think and sometimes write that makes it difficult to understand. I have definitely noticed that rephrasing and restating from a slightly different point of view can make a huge difference. This forum seems to be filled with a lot of really inquisitive and intelligent people. Maybe they’re just too smart for their own good.

SS4jelq,

Do I have to clean the floors of Thunder’s Place to get good gaining advice and move a scalding hot pot with my forearms (branding 2 large penises on my wrists and forearms) to use my new and improved tool in the outside world? If so, I’m there Master, but can I please have the Celtic weave pot to move instead? By the way, I think I may try the Mon/Wed/Fri schedule and find a way to make the workouts dynamite! That will wait for after my first month measurements though, in mid Feb. By then, I will probably have a jelq device and/or be using some of Bib’s girth tricks with a homemade adjustable cock-ring. Thanks for the feedback.

SimonClass,

I agree with you and think that LOT should be a consideration for later. It’s good to try and understand as much as possible though, so that you know what’s happening and why. When I think that I understand LOT better, I will try to post a simplified explanation. The nice thing about a board like this, I truly believe that there will always be people here who know what it is that we are looking for, when we find that we need it.

Yes, that is right. The LOT theory is more useful to guys who hang weights and somewhat useful to those who do manual stretches. As a newbie, you should concentrate on jelqing and stretching. Understanding the LOT theory can come later.

Any time that you are having trouble with English, you can send a Private Message (PM) to your countrymen L born XXL buried or AndreasF. Their English is excellent and we’re all here to help each other.

LOT? Did any of you notice that a German woman won more than EUR 20 million (!!!) in the LOTtery? It was the highest amount won in a LOTtery ever! Twat, you’re news lack this, don’t they?

SimonClass, das mit dem LOT ist eigentlich recht simpel… wenn Du es in Deinen Übungen berücksichtigen willst, dann meld’ Dich ruhig bei mir!

I just want to point out that everyone, including newbies, should test their LOT, even if just to know thier starting point. As they progress, they would be able to know if things are changing. The same is true with taking accurate measurements when starting.

LOT always seemed like a mystery to me until I learned about the anatomy of the penis and how it is attached to the rest of your body. After learning that, LOT theory isn’t so complicated after all!
