How come when I’m performing a kegel, my left calf always contracts? Is the PC muscle somehow connected throughout the leg?

Also, I’ve been doing kegels for a while, but I was curious if there was a test or a way to find out how strong your PC muscle really is? Is there a benchmark like thing for your PC muscle like there is with weight lifting? Just curious

I’m glad you brought this up. I was thinking the same thing just last night. I was slouching in my PE chair with my legs stretched out and spread slightly more than shoulder-width apart. I kegeled real hard and my dick jumped up about 3-4 inches (judging on where the glans started and reached in the air). I kept doing this and eventually tired out my PC/BC muscle. I had some porn rolling in the background to keep the blood flowing and my dick (semi) hard. I don’t know exactly how many I did, but I would guess 100 or so. It was a great workout! I might try this again as I continue to condition my PC/BC muscle to see if I can do more.

I don’t know about your calf muscle contracting. Mine doesn’t. Just try really hard to concentrate on only flexing the PC/BC muscle. Focus on it and imagine only it contracting.

Sounds like you’re trying too hard. There is no connection with your leg muscles. Have you read this thread?

I’m not aware of any tests or benchmarks. However, most guys notice “stronger” erections and more forceful ejaculation. Which reminds me, I recall that your problem was premature ejaculation. Is that better now?

Yeah I’ve read that before. Maybe I’m not isolating the PC muscle 100%? I’ll attend to that better and see.

Well, the last time I was with a girl was January so I haven’t been sexual active since. I am taking the time off to try and improve myself and know my body better. Plus, I can’t get a date for anything! But that’s a whole other story! Anyway.. I’ve been extending my masturbation sessions longer and that has helped. I noticed that when I first start to get an erection, I kegel very involuntarily to ANY stimulation or thought so this is why kegeling and strengthing my PC muscle is very important to me. I need that control. So, hopefully when I am with a girl again, I won’t blow my nut so soon and this practice will help. I have to get it out of my head that I want to ejaculate to feel good right away and get it in my head (both) that I want to prolong the sensation of getting to that point of no return slowly.
