I was doing a mix of ULIs and squeezes etc last night when I think I found a pretty good variation on the ULI. Instead of holding the ULI for a 20-30 second count, I pulsed it real quick over and over expanding then releasing the squeeze. It was like 1-2 seconds hard push, then 1 second off. I did 5 sets of 10-15 pulses per set and I have to say that post workout engorgement was better than I think I’ve ever had. IMO this works on the same principle as JAI’s and DLD’s: The tissue fatigues much quicker when expanded and released over and over. Just like bending metal back and forth quickly builds heat and then breaks the metal.

Ive done something like this before - when I was too lazy or sore to hold a full squeeze :D

I think they have potential - but you’d have to do them past normal hardness to be real pulses of over expansion…
