How long does your Pump last??

How long does your Pump last??

I have read a lot about guys who have pumps after their session for hours and hours. My Pump will last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour at MAX. Does this mean that my workout is lacking in intensity? I jelq at 60-90% erect for 20 minutes and I feel like I get a good workout, but I don’t ever have a sustained pump. I am not a pumper, however, so that could play a big role in the duration of my pump. What do you think? How long do your pumps last?

Do you do a hot wrap at the end of your session?

Typically, no. I start with a hot wrap before my stretches (20 min) and then again before my jelquing. There have been times in the past where I have hot wrapped post-workout and I haven’t really noticed much of a difference, but maybe I just need to try it again and be more attentive. The past couple days I have actually been cold-wrapping post-workout…Is that ridiculous?

I’ve got the same concerns as doubles and would like to hear others on that subject.

And: How is the volume and the duration of the post-session-pump related to true, permanent, cemented, PE gains? For example: If I have a great pump for many hours, is it a good sign that my workout is effective and is likely to give me great permanent gains?
If the answer is yes, then we would always have to look for maxing out the pump after workout.

Doubles,

I belive that you could be causing some serious damage to you tool!! It is my belief that you should warm up and warm down. I belive that both of these play a very important role in PE. At least 5min warm up and 5min warm down. You could be harming your pecker more than you know. My two cents!

Time is probably the main factor that comes into play here. Not exercise time, but the passage of weeks and months of continuous effort. So, as you get more and more into the program, your after effects are going to last longer and longer.

A good way to finish your routine is to get a hard-on with or without a cock ring and massage that after workout pumped cock for 15 minutes or so. This helps to begin cementing your post exercise dimensions.

Great info, thanks.

cead mile failte :lep:

Post PE pump is variable. I agree with gprent on the time put-in issue. The longer you have been doing PE, the longer the engorgement lasts, in general.

When I first started, a half hour was about it. Months later, a couple hours. Then, months later, a half day. Now, unless I do hot, sweaty exercise, I can keep it into the next day.

Stick with your program. If you are lucky, your erect gains and your flaccid gains will be in sync.

Thanks everyone. I have been pe’ing now for about 3 months and haven’t noticed any increase in the duration of my pump. I guess I just need to continue as usual and see what develops.

Thanks for the concern man. The only reason I’ve tried cold wraps is some here at thunders say it helps to cement the after effects of a session. I usually start with a 5 min warmup, like you said and then after my 20 minutes of stretching I will do another 5 min warmup pre-jelq. I have a post on cold wraps in the member section….no one has paid much attention to it, but please feel free to add your two sense.

This reminds me of an analogy in body building, which I have been practicizing for several years: When you leave the gym after a good intensive work out, your muscles are pretty much pumped up, like it is the case of your penis after a good PE work out. Of course, within hours, the pump disappears and you might look just like before that training, BUT over weeks of dedicated, disciplinated work, the muscles will still grow, both in “cold state” as well as in post-session-pumped-up-state.

Another important analogy I recognize is rest time. In body building, sometimes, I haven’t got the time to train for a week or two because of work or something. However, in this time my muscles still grow and when I come back to the gym, I discover I haven’t lost anything, it’s quite the opposite: the same exercices with the same weights, which seemed barely possible to me before the rest period, are much easier because the muscles have had time to build up and “get used” to the greater load/stress.

For the above two reasons I would never underestimate the analogies between BB and PE.
