Fat pad/Mons pubis question for you who have lost weight

I have always been on the heavier side and thus has always had a bigger fat pad. I have lost quite a bit but still 15-20kg overweight. Right now I am about 100kg/220lbs and was thinking about how much difference you notice on your fat pad when you lose weight. I haven’t personally seen much of a change eventhough I suspect there has been a slight one since I lost about 20kg/44lbs.

At this moment writing this I don’t have the best EQ due to my anxiety (I suspect) these last two weeks. My fat pad is around 3cm/1.2 inches give or take. This is something that I hope will diminish a lot with further weight loss seeing as there is some hidden size under there. And also, I know the fat pad is not the only thing hiding your penis down there, the surrounding fat behind the balls and that area comes into play aswell, but let’s go with only the fat pad for now.

Question to all of you:
How much weight did you lose to see a significant difference and how much are you at now? What size did the fat pad go from to where it is now? Is there an approximate way of knowing how much body fat% you need for a certain fat pad? (I suspect that is a hard one to determine)

In order for me to start seeing significant reduction in the fat pad I need to get below 17% BF, that’s when it really starts shrinking.

I am underweight or perfect weight depending how you look at it. (6ft 160lbs)
And my fat pad is atleast a inch thick. I’m currently shopping around for the best price on mons pubis liposuction. Mexico is my targeted place because that will be the most affordable option. The qoute I received in America from Dr Carney office was 6k. That is much to expensive for me.

Imo based on myself there is no weight loss program that will reduce the pubic fat pad and lipo or sculpting is the only option.

I have a hard time knowing what to search for, that’s why I asked here, and also this community is a very good source of information. 1 inch you say… I guess I can see that. Although I doubt I would be able to see 1 inch gain if I lose 30+ pounds. Like stated in my first post I have approximately 1.3 inch fat pad, maybe more. For me to lose 30+ pounds (assuming that is fat) that would have me at 190 lbs. Does muscle definition do a lot do a lot of difference in seeing less fat pad?

I will surely try. Struggling with mental health issues at the moment aswell so the motivation and willpower is not at its peek right now I’m afraid… I have done a list of things I want to improve for personal growth, though, so I will try and give it a shot. First step is talking to a therapist in a week… will be interesting and hopefully a step in the right direction.

This is something I have thought about aswell if I cannot get rid of the majority of the fat pad when (hopefully) I get my shit together and start working out and eating good. I need to improve my life at the moment and my physical appearance together with my mental health needs to be in focus first. Start loving oneself for once.

Im 6’4” 235lbs now before I was 255lbs. Losing 20lbs also reduced my pant size from 38 to 34 in the waist. I feel great and working on losing 10 more.

Okay so from 21.7% down to 16.8% I went from ~1.25” to about .75”. However it is more dramatic than that because away from the base of the shaft the entire puffiness of the fat pad gets reduced, essentially it flattens and the entire package looks more pronounced. Also the shaft has the appearance that it emerges from a higher point so that adds to how the package is framed. Also from an esthetic perspective it just looks better without the puffiness of the fat pad.

There are guys here that have posted pictures of their package who are muscular and lean and you can see all of that effect.

I never appreciated any of that till it was brought to my attention when I got here.

There are a lot of skinny guys that still have that issue, because they’re just skinny but not really lean.

You have to do everything. You have to get on a meal plan so you reduce the calories slightly while making sure you get enough protein to preserve muscle during the cut, you have to lift weights to build muscle and you have to do some light aerobics to burn calories so that you can eat enough to get the protein in but still be in a caloric deficit.

Losing weight is easy, leaning up requires greater precision.
