What angles would benefit a gain in the “top” BPEL vs the “side” BPEL?

You don’t gain size by simply measuring different, you just lie to yourself. I measure almost an inch longer on the side, but I am still the same size no matter how I measure.


2007-01-27 5.3" BPEL 4.8" EG, Less than 3" Flaccid, and sometimes less than 2"

As of 12-07-2008 7.75" BPEL 7.1" NBPEL 5.7"MSEG 6"+ BSEG. Ultimate goal 8+ inches NBPEL, 8.5" BPEL 6.3" EG (2" diameter just sounds so cool!)

Flaccid 5+ inches on a good day. 4 1/2+ pretty much anytime. My gains have slowed to a snails pace, but I will not quit!!!!!!!

Measuring on the top seems to give a more consistent reading. Measuring on the side gives you the opportunity to misplace the end of the ruler and obtain different lengths. Your hanging technique wouldn’t be related to how your gains are measured. Just pick a technique and do it consistently to see your progress.

I’ve found that measuring from the top to be inaccurate due to increases in my base girth and the resulting changes in the relationship between my penis, fat pad and pubic bone. Hard to explain, but it seems that even my fat pad has been pulled slightly down onto the shaft, which interferes with consistent ruler placement, month to month.

Measuring from the side removes from the equation the changes that occur through gains. While there is about a one inch difference between the two, I am more interested in consistently charting progress than getting an entirely accurate erect length measurement.

I’ve found it a good idea to measure and track both dorsal and side measurements.

Yes, I know the whole 1 inch difference thing between the two. But when I first started measuring my dick(long before I did any type of PE), I always just placed the ruler on the top without pushing it in to anything. And I always got 5.75-6,depending on the angle of my erection at time of putting the ruler there. In fact, I think this is how most guys do it(that aren’t involved with any PE). I have always thought it would be nice to get a top NBPEL of 7-7.5. But as it stands right now, I am only measuring 6-6.25 in that. It just messes with my head having the side BPEL come out to be so much longer than this, and the top being an inch less, and then the NBPEL an inch less than that.

Yea, I know what you mean so, I just measure and track all three. Before I started PE I just measured nbpel. Like you, I didn’t know there were different ways to measure. Nbpel is what I am really concerned about in the long run. However it is hard to track progress with that method or bone pressed. I have a tendency to want to push harder and harder into the fat pad. When I started to measure along the side (due to wearing the static stretcher) I realized that it was more reliable – I can’t cheat. But, there is that one inch difference.

I went to that static stretcher site to ask them a bunch of questions that would help me purchase one. They didn’t even give me any info about their product, they just were giving me their thoughts about my problem that I told them I was having, that made me want to get one. Weird how they wouldn’t want to try and push their product to me. They seem kinda expensive, but I am giving serious thought to getting one so that I can do an ANS. I am starting to use PE weights for my ADS.

Well, my gains weren’t from the static stretcher. I wore mine about an average of 16 hours a day for six weeks and gained nothing. I wore it at night about six to eight times during that period. I didn’t like wearing it at night. I was afraid of the dangers of something happening and the circulation being cut off so, I didn’t sleep well at all.

My first half inch was from DLD’s newbie routine. I then tried the static stretcher and gained nothing. Then, I bought a bib and started hanging and incorporating piss pulls throughout the day. I was gaining a little over an eighth inch per month when hanging. I am now focusing on stretching skin. When I get enough skin, I will go back to hanging for gains.

Yea, I would only use the static stretcher to keep in the extended state when I wasn’t hanging. And like I said, I already have a ADS, so I would want to use it as an ANS. I achieved all my gains from the BibStarter as well. I experimented with a bunch of angles, via Bigger’s suggestions-BTC, SO regular, and now SO with the RS/DT fulcrum. I am told the latter is great for gains in the tunica and septum.
