My situation has been similar to yours and there IS hope. I tried jelqing at first, and it worked, but mostly for girth. I suggest that you do the regular manual stretches for about 6 months, but do it several times throughout the day, and that’s all. This will increase your length. After you get to the point that your stretch length is about 4.5 inches, you can start doing the v stretches or the modified v stretches, which I explain here:

To get a better grip, I use a tissue.
If you want to jelq, you have to do the one handed jelq, holding the skin back with the other hand. The jelqing hand must come from above, not below, or there’s nothing to grab.
