Hi everyone,

I’ve been away for some time, gathering knowledge and information, and I want to share some of my doubts with You guys.

1. Kegels are performed to increase to decrease erection? Some of You say that when You flex before orgasm,the erection gets weaker, other say it is to make it harder. I don’t know which one is true.

2. I’m sick of the anatomy and smart medical stuff about kegel muscles. Some say it’s a group, other say it’s important to isolate 1 particular muscle. I would be really happy now to know where and how does it feel like? Do I have to concentrate on my perineum? My external or internal penis? Is the tension of anus necessary?

3. I used the simulation we have here made by the user LoveMachine and I think it’s great. But it tells me nothing about points of my concentration.

4. No matter how hard I try, I can’t make my erected penis move up and down. I can stop my urine in 10 different muscle squeezes.

1. I believe what most members mean is that kegels make your overall EQ better ie. harder penis, better orgasms, more frequent erections, etc.

Kegels before climax are meant to hold back the cum and then allow the urge to subside, but the real benefit comes from all the kegels you do the weeks, month and years before the PONR, not just the one kegel you do to hold back. A powerful PC muscle is an amazing thing.

2. Stopping your urine (if the urine still dribbles out, your pc muscle is really weak), placing your finger between your scrotum and anus (you will feel the contraction), flexing when erect (penis bobs up and down), and holding your penis out and then flexing (penis will kinda pull against your hand and into the body) are the best ways to find the PC muscle.

Don’t go crazy and look to deep into a kegel; it really is rather simple. But I can understand your frustrations, I once quit a routine mostly because I didn’t think I could do kegels. Soon I realized that I was thinking too much. As the muscles get stronger, kegels are easier to feel.

I still question whether or not I am flexing anything if I don’t use one of the three methods above. The feeling is so minute it is easy to go unnoticed if you are not trying to feel it. That is how it is for me anyway.

3. I have never heard about these stimulation techniques so I have no input here.

4. As your muscles gets stronger, you will be able to hold kegels longer and harder and make your penis dance if you want it to. ;)

It’s simply the contraction you do to stop your urine stream when you urinate. Focus on trying to moving everything to the center/middle of your pelvis. It should feel like everything is drawing in towards a point behind the base of your penis(inside your body).

Ok, that’s eventually clear ;:) should I concentrate on sides of my pelvis or this tiny perineum as a start point?

You should focus on the perineum as a start point. As was mentioned, the stronger your muscle gets the more noticable it is when contracted.

But how is it possible that the perineum is starting point if I have to move everything towards it from sides? Sorry, I’m confused.

If you put yout finger on your perineum(right on the muscle) and then hold a kegel, you should feel pressure against your finger(this is the muscle contracting). However if you keep holding it then other muscles are involved including the anal sphincter, and it feels like everything is drawing upwards.

Although I usually just injure myself with PE in the case of kegeling I have a rather great deal of experience.First I would like to say I kegel all the time,even now I am quick kegeling on this chair I probably do thousands but I am going to start integrating a rest day before kegeling to get more benefit from it,as to what I feel,well there are more then one muscle and more then one way it can be effected,the most noticeable benefit of kegeling for me has been oddly enough the end of my lower back pain,I can now sit straighter in my chair without any ache.

When flexing my kegel muscles I feel several,one that pulls in a little but expands the penis,there is one lower down near the kegel,there is a definitive sensation that rises from the lower part of the kegel muscles,it kind of has a wave of sexual sensation and moves upwards,two muscles,I do something called a butterfly flex were I expand outward the muscles and then contract inward the muscles back and forth like flapping of wings.another recent exploration is for the so called “VIP muscle” which some associate with “Dr” Lins so called tailbone muscle,nothing yet.

Holding a kegel for me at first expands it,but then it deflates,practicing holding kegel contractions expands the time you can hold a “inflated” penis before it starts to deflate.I have heard that kegeling has some benefit to PE as it increases internal pressure,that which causes PE but other then Holding kegels then clamping I’m not sure how(unless anyone here has found the vip muscle)

Is there no, simple, one way? It’s impossible that everyone has different way of doing the exercise but it works in the same way for all.. We have the same anatomy. Any clues about this?

No No. What I meant is that comes comes from the perineum(starts there), as well as the base of the penis. It feels like it moves up and back, almost towards the lower spine(it is a pulling in sensation).

When setiamon speaks of this “butterfly-flex” he is talking about doing kegels and reverse kegels alternately. A reverse kegel is the opposite of a kegel(it uses the muscles that oppose the kegel muscles, just as your quads oppose your hamstrings).

To do a reverse kegel: when you urinate, try to cause your urine to come out as fast and forcefully as possible, and there you have it. So doing that contract followed by a kegel, and then again the reverse kegel, is what setiamon talks of.

What does a reverse kegel do for you exactly? What’s its purpose compared to a regular kegel?

I’m sure sure really. All I know is that it is atagonistic to your kegel muscle. So maybe it stretches the kegel muscle. And it is common knowledge that muscle imbalances are counter-productive. So perhaps it’s good to reverse kegel also.

Assuming - does the anus also have to interact with this movement? Or it doesn’t take part in it?
