Stupid question about measuring

Sorry guys I know that might sound stupid but how do I measure girth,I put the ruler on my dick parallel to the floor and perpendicular on my shaft and measure it from side to side multiplying it by 2, is that the right way to do it? Thanks

Thanks guys,well I measured my erect length while putting the ruler on my shaft and pressing a little bit against my body,after seeing that I should be putting it parallel beside my dick I am actually afraid to measure it only to find it smaller but I am guessing it should be the same,right?

It shouldn’t make much of a difference really. I believe the de facto EL measurement by most guys here is with the ruler on top.

I also have a question relating to measuring,

If you have an upward curve or any curve for that matter, do you straighten the penis and measure or just measure it with the curve? Thanks in advance.

Depends on how you want to measure - remember, you are only measuring in order to compare yourself to yourself, all else is pretty moot.

So just be sure to be consistent.
