Some questions about the newbie routine

Some questions about the newbie routine

Although I have been doing PE on and off for years, I feel like I never quite “got” it.

Part of the newbie routine is starting out with 200 3 sec jelqs. Then it says gradually move to 30 min of jelqing over 6 weeks. Okay, what does that mean? If each jelq is 3 sec, and I need to work up to 30 min, that’s 600 3 sec jelqs. That’s a lotta jelqs. When taking into account the fact that I need to stop sometimes to get hard again, that wastes time of that 30 min period. What am I supposed to do, reach over and stop the timer each time I stop to get hard again? Not only is that inconvenient, but also, with lube all over my hands, I’d be getting my phone messy.

This raises another question. If it’s 600 3 sec jelqs to equal 30 min, that means adding about 66 jelqs each week. Seems a bit fast to me. So what’s best, number of jelqs or time? I think I prefer number of jelqs, because the amount I can get done in a set period of time varies. What’s a good number?

Finally, the suggested schedule is two days on one off. What is that? Exercise Mon Tue, Wed off, Thu Fri, and then the weekend off, or does that mean two days on, one day off consistently with no weekends off? Thanks in advance.

Well I guess if no one wants to respond I’ll just go with four days a week and add 66 a week. Geez is this site that dead?

The basic idea of the newbie is a guild line. I see how it can be confusing. Especially if your someone that tries to follow step by step instructions.

This is my advice and mine only. The newbie is to get someone completely new to pe to safely do pe. However based off how you personally feel while jelqing or stretching or whichever exercise you may be doing at the time is accustom to you. This is to prevent injury. So if you feel comfortable doing say 100 jelqs is a session then do it.

I think your getting too caught up in the actual numbers when most pe is based off feel. From there you go with however many jelqs, stretches, mins and weight of hanging, etc.

Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll try doing things in the way I initially figured them out and see how it goes.
