Slow/hard girth gainers, how did you do it?

Hey TP,

I’ve been doing PE for 3 months now, I’ve seen some minor length gains but almost no girth gains. My last measurement was a bit of an improvement, but measuring again now I seem to be back to my original girth.

My girth-focused routine as of now is:

5 minute warmup with light stretching
10 minutes bathmate high pressure
2-3 clamp/cockring sessions, 10 minutes each, with hard squeezes, horse440’s, slow squashes etc. Anything to expand.
5 minutes edge/warmdown
loosely-fitting cockring around cock+balls for the rest of the day in an attempt to heal in expanded state.

So my question for all the people who had a really tough time gaining girth, how did you do it?

Start - 09/28/16: BPEL: 6.5" MEG: 4.66" (Pumping, Clamping, Cockrings & Stretches)

Current - 11/25/20: BPEL: 7.2" (+.7") MEG: 4.75" (+.09") --- Roughly 1 year of PE and a long hiatus in between.

Girthquest: Short-term Goal: MEG: 5" -- Ultimate Cemented Goal: MEG: 5.25"

Not much is ever gained in 3 months and persistence is always the key.

Based on many stats I’ve seen on this site, the contrary is commonly true. Some people have gained almost all of their girth (and length) in the first 3-4 months.

Some people are easy girth gainers, and some easy length gainers, and some probably neither. I gained half an inch in length in 3 months, I’d say that’s some easy length.

Persistence is necessary in either case, you’re right. I went into this knowing that it would be an at least 1 year commitment before I started seeing noticable changes. However, persistently doing what isn’t working isn’t going to get you anywhere. I’m starting to notice that my girth isn’t changing at all regardless of routine intensity or frequency. This is what’s bothering me and why I made this thread.

I don’t know what stats you’re looking at and I don’t want to argue but the existence of the beginners routine is to get you in condition for more serious work. If anyone is lucky enough to get any gains from that then they are very lucky.

Don’t take my answer for gospel but you might simply overdo it. Might want to consider reducing BM pressure and/or dropping the clamping for a while.
High pressure bathmate, in my experience, just leads to fluid buildup or to conditioning- meaning your unit gets stronger, but not bigger. Also adding clamping sounds a bit rough to me for the first 3 months.

Now, I know exactly what you mean- am in the same boat. I gain very, very slowly and it’s tough to maintain but again from experience, overdoing it doesn’t help.

My target goal is 5.5” girth as well and with pulling all tricks in the book (ie pumping, cock ring, after session) I manage 5.375 consistently for a while now. Never over. If I get over, it’s fluid from BM.

You’ve been doing PE 3 months and that’s your girth routine? I think you may be overworking it….
Whats your schedule look like?

Honestly I would say stop. Take a few weeks off no PE at all then start back with some good high quality jelqing and maybe a few squeezes. A majority of my girth gains came in the first couple months and were from just jelqing.
I tried various clamping routines with no permanent gains, switched back to 5-10 minutes of jelqing and a handful of horse440’s and have been putting on permanent girth again.

Start (Feb 2016) BPEL 5.25", EG 4.125" | Stopped (Mar 2018) BPEL 7.65", EG 4.94"

Re-start (Aug 2023) BPEL 7.09", EG 4.76" after 5.5 years off | Mar 2024 BPEL 7.87", EG 5.28"

To provide a clear picture of my personal experience after gaining 0.5” in 3-4 months from jelqing alone I switch to a very intense clamping routine (3 sets 15+ minutes with bends and edging 4-5 times a week). I did that for two months gaining over 1/4”, post Decon I only had gained 0.015”.

Then for around a month or so I did a clamping routine again, not as intense 2-3 sets 5-8 minutes just basic clamping 4 times a week. Gained close to 1/4”, after decon only gained 0.060”.

3 months of jelqing for 5-10 minutes and 2-6 horse440’s during jelqing 3 times a week and I gained almost 0.2”, after Decon had gained 0.1”

I feel the same as Dickpushupftw.

I have had 0,5” in girth and most have been gained during the first months, only with jelqing.

After 3 months of jelqing I have tried uli#3 for 2 months. It gave 0,1”.

Then I tried clamping for 1 months but the result was EQ problems with no gain.

I finished with 1 month of horse440 that gave me 0,1”.

I think it’s important to focus on one exercise and do it seriously during a month or more depending on the result.

Thanks all for the great advice.

I’ve been warned about conditioning quickly with this routine before, and it could be what is happening. I’m going to finish out this month’s routine, if no results I’ll probably take 2 weeks to a month off, then start back with just jelqs and squeezes. I’ve had no luck with jelqing at all and did my first month following JP90. Maybe it’s bad technique, but I don’t get good expansion. Maybe another sign of an overconditioned penis…

Clamping gives great results while clamped though. Expansion is awesome, taking my 4.75(ish) girth to over 5”. Whether or not its helping at all, I can’t say.

I gained zero my first year. Completely girth focused. 100% dedicated and 100% consistent. I took one month off and came back and immediately gained 1/4”.

You might wanna try taking the full month. You can’t lose any gains and it could prime you for some nice gains when you return.

Is it because you were only jelqing that you didn’t gain anything, or something else you haven’t figured out yet?

Over training and conditioning. 10 months on training, $$$ on gadgets. I did gain a little girth but little to no length. On a deconditioning break now. I’d really love to have some of those newbe gains when I start PE again.

Hm. I wonder if it has something to do with healing… maybe it takes months for some people to actually heal and form new tissue, and continuous workouts will just prevent healing?

Just spitballing.

You know, I’ve always been a very hard girth gainer, and for the last few months (years?) nothing has seemed like it’s gotten me past the plateau. I’d been feeling like my corporosa tissues were very very tough, even though my EQ has been fairly good.
It’s struck me recently that perhaps in my case, everybody’s physiology being different, maybe the tunica is the key. So recently I bought a hanger to try to attack my tunica, and I have to say, even after just a few days of use, I was noticing significantly improved expansion during my girth work. I’m talking Very noticeable. What had felt for a long time almost like an uncooperative bundle of sticks was suddenly feeling a lot more like an expanding blood-filled organ. Obviously this is just one anecdote and everybody’s body is different, but it’s been a very big and positive change. Definitely lends credence to the limiting factor paradigm, despite the apparent weakness of the analogy that originally propped up that theory.

Two other changes I’ve made in my program recently, *always* being more diligent with heat application, and making sure that my manual girth exercises (typically semi-erect squeezes, wet semi-clamped Jelqs, and Uli#3s a few hundred of the latter two exercises and about 5-10 one minute reps of the squeezes) are always done at 50-70% erection and not more. It’s very easy for me to lose track of diligence with my techniques, but these two changes will have to be cardinal rules for me.

Anyway, reinvigorating old threads may be frowned upon by some, but I figure these bits of insight are helpful for people who search out these threads.
Good luck to everybody.

I think it is very appropriate to resurrect an older thread when you have something to contribute to it.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.
