Slight pain later after jelq; does that mean it's working?

Towards the end if the day, on my “PE workout days”, my penis will have a slight pain, (never exactly in the same spots). It almost feels like a bunch of cuts burning up and down my penis on the skin, and overall my penis feels kinda sore. Does this mean I’m doing it right? Are these the micro cuts that people talk about? This is going on my 2nd week of jelqing/stretching so I’m really new. My routine is 2 days on, 1 day off, etc. 200 reps for jelq, and I stretch for a few minutes before jelqing. I also do it while taking a hot shower, and I’ll use moisturizer on it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

200 reps is a lot to be starting with. I was doing a lot less when I started, and still are. Also, the moisturiser you are using may not be the best for jelqing. This might be causing you some of your skin irritation. Have a read up on Thunders about recommended lubricants, and choose one that suits.

You are overtraining! A bit of soreness is good, but it should only last a few hours. The next day it should be gone. What you have sounds a bit worse, sharp pain is never a good sign. The only explanation when you’re new to this and doing 200 jelqs is overtraining.

Take it easy, and listen to my esteemed colleages: the linear newbie routine is what you need.

(Edit: micro cuts is actually a really good song from Muse. Not a type of injury and definitely not a mechanism to grow. Stretching fibrous tissue doesn’t work like that ;) )

Welcome to the forum.

Those micro-cuts or tears If you will, caused by PE should not result in pain. If you are feeling pain, there is nothing of “micro” damage at all, more like a “macro-damage”.

Thanks for the replies. I will cut back on my reps and try a different lube. I’ll take some time off before starting up again just to be safe. So are you supposed to feel anything after a PE workout? You know, kind of like after lifting weights you get that soreness in your muscles. Or should it feel numb or tired? I’m just curious. Thanks though for your guys help.

A tired/numb feeling, that might be the best description. The feeling you have after having had sex for a few times. It’s not uncomfortable.

Cut the reps in half , after restin for a week.

That’ll do the trick.


BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

I have reached my goal. At least for now.
