Sex And Turtling

All of this talk about how sex or even ejaculating after masturbation makes you turtle doesn’t seem to happen with me personally besides the obvious short term turtling right afterwards.

But I noticed, on days I have sex with my girl, an hour maybe less afterwards my dick seems to be nice and heavy most the time. He seems happy and comfortable, but not turtled up or hardened.

And few times I have came after masturbation I wasn’t left with a turtled unit the rest of the day either. Just maybe after the first 30 min to an hour.

I also notice nights that I have good sex, a lot of the time I wake up with amazing morning wood.

This leads me to think, does ejaculation have any effect on gains or even turtling. Maybe it all just depends on the personal situation of each individual. That would make sense. Because from what I have noticed, sex or ejaculation gets in the way of absolutely nothing and if anything may help keep my guy comfortable down there and not turtled up. What about you?

Like you said, I think a lot of it varies depending on the individual. Personally if I’m eating well, actively working out, and not stressed, I don’t turtle and my EQ is noticeably better. If I’m sick/rundown/anxious/stressed I’m much more likely to turtle after ejaculation but if I’m able to relax myself it usually subsides.

I think ejaculation may have some effect on gains, in the way that if you ejaculate and then immediately start a routine I think it would be less effective because the tissue is fatigued and in a temporary recovery period. Another theory I have is that if you finish a routine with edging but don’t ejaculate, it may be more effective than if you do ejaculate. My thinking here is that if you can avoid the “draining” effect of blood flowing out after ejaculation, it may help to cement gains from the routine and minimize the recovery period from the session. I have no scientific basis for either of these so I definitely might be wrong.

I agree with you definitely. It makes perfect sense, even though a body workout isn’t the same exactly as a penis workout, it is safe to say that a good example of what your saying would be like if you sprinted a mile just before bench pressing, it would clearly affect your overall performance in the gym.

And if your workout is only mediocre to its full potential, your gains will only be mediocre.

On the contrary, I love having sex just after a good PE workout as a form of edging. I have even influenced my girl to understand the importance of edging to where she allows me to have sex with her and not cum afterwards. Gotta love that. Especially when she loves when I cum.

I know when I’m spending time with my girlfriend, there’s no turtling going on. In fact, Mr. Happy seems at least half mast in my pants anytime I’m around her. I think the sex and masturbation could stimulate more sexual energy and/or even more testosterone production (just a theory on my part)..

Ejaculation doesnt affect your gains, its a myth in my personal opinion. You can ejaculate before or after your PE session with no worries. My penis stays fatter after sex too, maybe it take some time for the blood to leave the penis after a prolonged erection, but i dont know for sure.

I used to turtle often. Since PE, I Never turtle anymore. I’ve been outside in the garage smoking in 0° weather in a pair of shorts and shoes only, gone inside and it’s still not turtled. It used to stay turtled at all times unless stimulated. Now it’s a nice, heavy flaccid when warm and a normal flaccid hang at others. I can’t quite wrap my head around the logic of sex being bad for gains. From what I gather, PE is primarily focused on the tissues of the CC and CS along with the ligs and tunica. Obviously the blood flow to the erection during sex doesn’t affect PE since common arousal is a part of the workout. Ejaculating itself is pretty complex and involves some inner muscle contractions, but none of it is really associated with the tissue manipulation of PE. The refractory period seems like the only time when PE would be affected, but even then you could probably do some stretching as the PC muscle is pretty relaxed.

I don’t think sex has any negative effects, and it would only make sense that it would have positive effects honestly.

I mean, the saying “use it or lose it” definitely have some validity to it, and if your having sex your definitely not losing it, so I could only assume it would be pro active if anything.

Plus, like they all say, what’s the point of all the hard work you put in if your not going to enjoy sex. It’s like buying a Lamborghini and keeping it garaged the whole time.

I must say men, find you a woman that supports your PE. Find you a woman that is supportive of it and you will be one happy camper. It almost helps with the patience that is needed with PE now that I think about it.

Instead of trying to race to a larger penis for your partner to enjoy you can rest assured knowing, that they know, it is going to be bigger with time. That is a good feeling.

I have a turtuling problem. I’m sure it was brought on by too much time in a bicycle seat. Ongoing problem for 13 years. Unless erect it’s always turtled and it’s a really bad feeling being turtled.

Probably tight pelvic floor. Do you breathe through your chest or through your diaphragm?

I had to completely re learn how to breathe because high school coaches told us to breathe in through our nose and out our mouths. That’s the wrong way to breathe and it shortens breath. After learning how to breathe properly during activity I never turtle.

Always breath thru mouth or both never nose. And using stomach. Pretty funny I remember biking and feeling the turtle effect and it made me feels so bad. It was really bad turtling when biking and cold wind through pants :(

I always turtle in the cold. I’m assuming most of your blood is drawn to you legs from biking. Happens to me aswell. For example, when I do overhead pressing. I have to keep my core and glutes tight and I turtle just a bit.
