Okay, I've started turtling and it sucks Now what do I do

The title pretty much says it all guys! What can I do? Any real solutions?

Use less force whit manual stretch.

Jelqs really helped me with flaccid hang, which I think is the opposite of turtling.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Are you turtling because you just had sex or masterbated? Or because of overtraining/loss of EQ?

Do you have any red spots on your unit?

No red spots. I do an “all Fowfer” routine. When I’m not turtled.. Like walking around before shower, I’ve already got a better flaccid hang after only a few months, but my dick does the turtle thing once I’m dressed.. Very uncomfortable, awkward trying to discretely push it back out except in restroom.

If you are new to PE I would suggest doing the newbie routine first. You’ll make much better linear gains when you first start out. Introducing fowfers is ok later on or even now but not as base for you PE. You need a good solid routine to build up from.

I don’t have the time or privacy to do other routines. That being the case, should I just forgo it entirely?

Does any “anti-turtle” method have long term results?

Personally, I’ve been trying the cock ring for theoretical purposes. It seems to help, however, I’m thinking that the ring has to be just snug enuff not to slip off. If its tight it’ll cut circulation to the point of numbness, but it’ll keep from doing the turtle. Now my experience has been that you take a rubber band type hair tie, large or x-large, fold it into 2 loops. Once the band is back to its original size it won’t sqeese anymore, therefore it stays just tight enuff to keep a little extra blood in the penis; and doesn’t cut circulation.

Fold into 2 loops = fold in half = fold 1 time

Sorry, but some have a hard time understanding what is trying to be said. Sometimes I’m that guy as well.

Is it turtling as in you’re flaccid size is less than before you started or is it just you’re not maintaining that nice full post workout plump gains?

It’s easy to fall in love with that post workout hang, but it will be quite a while before that’s the permanent state of things. Bascially, if you’re not turtling up flaccid worse than before you started, it’s more of a mental thing. You just need to give it time to become the new “normal”.

An ‘all fowfer routine’ means you do nothing but fowfers? What should that accomplish?

I tug on my unit every chance I get, I’ll even walk around or sit on the couch and do some quick manual stretches with people in the rooms.

They don’t know what I’m doing they just know my hands in my pants and I don’t really care. It looks no different then when you adjust your underwear, have a wedgie, or have an itch. (I’m not saying do it for 30 minutes with people watching you just quick 15 second tugs) if you are alone in the room do it, you hear someone coming, simply stop.

If you care about it you’ll make the time to do it and worst case scenario is your friend or whoever says what the hell are you doing and you both laugh and move on.

Turtling is the penis retracting back toward the body, much like a turtle that pulls his head back into his shell. It can be caused by stress, cold, overtraining, or any other of a number of factors. It’s a defense mechanism of the body. Turtling is used to describe a temporary reactionary state and it’s not technically turtling if that’s just the normal state of the penis.

I’ve got some ideas for using soft, clinical-type materials to just keep the penis in a very gently elongated state (I.e. No turtle, but no stretch either). Anyone think that’ll have any long-term impact?
