Newb Question Regarding Using an ADS Combined with Manual Stretches, Rest Days

Hi all, I just stumbled upon this place and am fascinated by this discussion.

I read other articles online regarding manual stretches and how it is important to take rest days. I also read the Newbie FAQ section, which contains a Beginner’s Routine that incorporates rest days.

I am wondering how to incorporate the idea of rest with using an ADS like the Phallosan? Would 8-12 hours of stretching be too much? I ask because most routines I see online only go about 30 or so minutes. If rest time is important, would an all day stretcher be too much?

I realize that everyone’s body is different, but would it be ok to do the beginner’s routine and then use an ADS for 8 hours or so?

And can you use an ADS like the Phallosan every day, as Phallosan’s manufacturer recommends (I believe)?

I’m seeing some conflicting info so I’m wondering what you guys think.

I haven’t racked up enough ADS time to tell how it works for me as far as gains, but I definitely get a bigger flaccid and a bit better EQ. I use the ADS in conjunction with my other PE work.

How long you can wear it is mostly dependent on how sensitive your glans is to vacuum. If you don’t get any blisters, go for it. Otherwise, back off until they don’t recur.

Remember the difference between an ADS and “vacuum extender” or “vacuum hanger” is basically a matter of degree; you use the ADS for a longer time at less tension than the other two.

Do you think it’s important to take rest days using an all day stretcher like the Phallosan or are people using them daily with decent success? I am wondering if it’s anything like bodybuilding where you really need rest days to build the muscle.

The theory of the ADS isn’t so much to stretch the penis as to keep it pulled to full length so that any healing from other PE happens in the extended state. Therefore, since there’s very little stress, there’s no need to take breaks.

At least that’s one viewpoint. Some things work for some people, but not others. The only way to be sure how it’s working for you is to measure regularly and keep a log of PE work.
