Jelqing first few attempts

Starting to feel not so clumsy.The mechanics of jelqing seems to be pushing the blood to the end of the penis stressing the corpora cavernosa to grow toward the tip? Is that right?

I need to remember to warm up. Today tried with some lube.Got kind of a pinching feeling in the right side just under the hood of the glans. Massaged that a little and is ok, don’t see any discoloration.
