Jelq direction

Hey yall on the dry jelq video I noticed that the guy jelqs upwards towards the ceiling. Are you supposed to jelq upwards or does he do that because of the curve of his penis? I have been jelqing straight out, but if I want to curve my penis upwards, should I jelq upwards? Does it really even matter?

Jelq which ever way feels most comfortable to you. Personally I jelq at a 45 degree or there about.

I jelq in a downward position because I get a good stretch in the ligaments.
