Is the LA pump worth the money?

I’ve only recently started my PE journey a couple months ago. I bought the Quick Extender Pro for around $180, which I’m realising now that it was probably not worth it as I could have build something similar for less then $50. Now I want to get int pumping because I heard you can make permanent gains on it, I always thought they were temporary. I’ve heard good things about the LA Pump, but I’m not sure if it’ll be worth the money, what do you guys think?

I suspect many may agree that LA and maybe Pumptoys are the premium level. There are possible others. Some swear by LeLuv which has a lower price point. I know I have an LA thick wall elliptical that is great, plus some Pumptoys tubes, which have a flared base you can use with or without their “Velseal” donut. Both companies are high quality in my experience, and from what I can tell, the tubes will never wear out.
