Is the bib hanger worth the money? is it the most effective?

Hi im new to this Pe stuff and I want to start hanging. I was wondering if the bib hanger is really worth the money and if it is more effective than most? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help

It’s the best hanging equipment out there. A very good investment if you want to hang heavy and comfortably. Although, it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll gain.

One more thing, you might want to consider a bib starter. Some people consider it to be better if you need to stretch tunica or do fulcrum hanging. With standard bib you will be able to hang really heavy weights though.

The first thing you should do is make a - Wench to see if hanging is right for you. Hanging is extremely time consuming and tricky in the beginning, so you should start a routine with a Wench and see how it goes.

Bib Hanger or no Bib Hanger, you’ll still need to put in the time and effort required. Period.

If you’re new the time for hanging is several months down the road. Hanging is very rough on the johnson and it needs to be conidtioned before you begin.

If your not sure about hanging you can build a wench for peanuts and give it a try. I love my wench it’s so simple but works so well.

My thoughts exactly. The Bib Hanger & Starter are “worth the money,” but hanging is not for everybody. Getting the wrap correct, the hanger adjustments, logging all the hours, etc. - its no picnic.

I built Cappy’s hanger for well under $20. And while it’s no Bib, it is a legitimate hanger - and works well with weights far above what you as a beginner would be using. And best of all, the only “tools” you’ll need to build Cappy’s hanger is a pair of scissors. Velcro, a wrapping material (ace bandage or thera), some rubber stoppers, canvas and a cable clamp. All at Wal-Mart, all for under $20. Of course, you’ll need some type of weight or other resistance. But that’s it. Give it a try and see if hanging is for you before you lay down the cash for a Bib.

Yes, the bib is worth every cent but the expertise and passion you receive form Bigger is priceless. I have to admit that I am bias, Bigger has helped me very much when I really needed it and I greatly respect him and miss his presence here.

The Bib hangers are outstanding. I have both a starter and a standard model.

The Bib hanger is the Cadillac of hangers it offers the most flexibility and will not slip when adjusted right. It is a superb tool. Combine it with a light weight ADS and your gains will be exciting.

Monty, just want to say that I despised the golf weights I tried from Wal-Mart but if I still hung, I would give yours a try, they appear to be finely crafted with the PE’er in mind(of course).
