Is ok to start hanging with only about a month of manual

I have spent a month with manual PE and I have never been able to experience any kind of fatigue at all.

If I start off really slow with the bib starter would this be OK?

I work 7 on and 7 off. QUESTION

I have a real unique work schedule.

I go out of town to work for 7 days.
Then I come home for 7 days and do no work at all.

The 7 days that I’m home I can do PE all day long if I wanted to. I have unlimited time to do as much or as little as I want.

But the 7 days I’m gone I can’t do any at all.

Am I wasting my time if I would need to take a week off every other week?

It is okay but it also wouldn’t be the end of the world to keep on doing manual stretches. They are free and most people need longer than a month to see gains.

It is very unlikely that you will gain in a month of hanging if you do it safely. Will you quit hanging in a month and jump to another method that also won’t produce gains in a month?

I personally think you should stick with manuals a little longer and start modifying your routine if needed.

If you hang safely your penis isn’t going to fall off if you haven’t done much manuals. Some people talk about manuals conditioning your penis for other methods but you can always hang at 2 pounds and condition your penis for greater weights. However, hanging is not something you want to be impatient with. It takes time to get the technique down and get the weight and time to a level that will be effective. If you rush it you can injure yourself.

I guess you have at least 20-30 minutes per day were your boss is not looking at you?

I didn’t read that other post before I answered above.
I personally wouldn’t hang every other week.

I don’t know if it is just my unique physiology but if I take more than 4 days off my skin can’t handle hanging at the previous weight. I imagine a week would be even worse.
It takes me multiple days up to weeks to get my skin conditioned to the levels that I was previously hanging at depending on the time that I take off.

Maybe it’s better to merge the two threads me think.

Manual stretching should work.

Pumping and clamping might. Hanging and extenders not.

So is everyone saying I should not even attempt PE if I have to take a week off every other week?

I can do PE for unlimited time on the week I’m home but on the week I’m gone I probably can only pull off light stretching while in the shower.

I think you should do manuals.

You might not have the issue I have with skin when it comes to hanging. My experience is only with the Bib hanger and perhaps the other hangers wouldn’t have that issue.

For me hanging every other week would be almost impossible. The skin seems to lose it’s conditioning after 3 or 4 days of not hanging. Again this is my experience only.

Everyone has their own idea about this, but I think you would be fine hanging for the week you are off - just start light! I used 2.5lbs for a month before going to 5lbs. The weeks you are “on”, continue the manual stretches. I see no big problems here.

I can definitely do light manuals on the weeks that I’m at work. I just can’t do any hanging.
I don’t have the privacy to hang.
But I do have enough privacy to do basic stretching on the week I’m at work.

I just wanted to make sure I was not wasting my time hanging on my week off it would not be beneficial.

I don’t expect to get results as quickly as someone who has he ability to do this everyday but I can accept that.

You’d be fine if you kept the weight low and hung daily ‘cuz apparently the penis will adapt and you’ll have to increase the weight very often to keep tearing the penis.

My concern is in regards to the skin with a compression hanger. I really don’t know about everyone else but when I started getting to 10 pounds plus my skin does not do well when I take more than a few days in a row off. For me the amount of time that I take off is almost the amount of time it takes for me to build back up to a productive weight.

My concern would be that for me I could probably hang 7.5 pounds or so every other week but I wouldn’t be able to do 10 pounds. It might take me a few days to build up to 10. The higher the weight the more days it takes to build up. If I try to gut it out my skin takes a beating and the next day I can barely hang at all. I will even tear skin at around 10 pounds if I don’t build up gradually over days and longer.

That might not seem like a big deal but when you get to a point that hanging 10 pounds no longer does anything for you it becomes a waste of time to hang. Your physiology might be different and you might not have this problem.

You might be able to stay low weight and use more time and do an aggressive divide and conquer method of many angles and positions.

If you do go that route I would love to follow your progress thread to see how it works for you.
