Hey. I know this study has been around for a while but did we ever figure out how they got some of these partial percentages with 300 men? For example, I am assuming only the effective volunteers count, so the sample is 300. How do you get .3%, well I can understand how - thats one guy out of 100 if they have simply rounded to the nearest tenth. But what is .1? That would be less than a complete person.

I’m 6.9" BP, and I actually find my 5.3" midshaft EG more "impressive" (if that’s the right word) than my length. I wonder if there’s any truth to this (i.e. 5.3" being bigger in the girth department than 6.9" BP is in the length department), or if it’s just my skewed impression of penis length from only seeing other erect dicks in porn.

Based on my observations and comparisons, I strongly suspect that most guys in porn are in the 7-8" range, a few are in the 8-9" range, and [i]maybe a handful (pun intended) are longer than 9".

Guys should really stop comparing themselves to porn actors - it is mostly a waste of time and often a source of needless frustration.

Girth:

4.75" to 5.00" 24.1 %
5.00" to 5.25" 9.9 %
5.25" to 5.50" 11.5 %

Those are pretty good numbers for both of your dimensions.

I got a question. Why do members state their bone pressed stats for length when talking about their size? I can see using the bone pressed method to keep track of gains, but when stating how big your size is, I would think more people would say their non-bone pressed length. I am currently 5.75” NBPEL, and that is what I tell people my size is even though I get approximately another .75”-1” when I use the bone pressed method. Just curious why that’s all.

It is also a true number, when you thrush in to a woman as deep as you can, bone pressed length will be entering, I also use it as I’m currently carrying some extra weight that I plan on losing so naturally more of my penis will be exposed once I cut down.

I do find it odd that Lifestyles would round in this manner. They manufacture things to the mm level of precision. Assuming their purpose was to get better information to aid in making and distributing condoms, doing a sloppy research job could cost them millions of dollars in sales. I think it’s more likely that they did do a reasonable job in measuring but they are not making this information publicly available so as not to give their competition a free ride on their own work. They released just enough to give themselves a marketing boost but not enough to allow the precise distributions to be reconstructed.

What we need is a mole, someone to go work there and find out what the truth is for us. We’ll call our mole Deep Throat II. :spy:
