Intensity of stretch

Should stretches be gentle, like a slight pull without too much tension, or an intense pull where you really feel the tingling sensation of stretching, like when you’re trying to do the splits and feel burning on your inner thighs?

You should pull as hard as you can as long as it feels comfortable.

No, but seriously, pull as hard as you can as long as it feels comfortable, as UpTo7 said. Cause what I said is insane.

I also pull really hard but am careful to not catch any problems. My biggest problems is that I get very tired in my hands and forearms after 2x30 seconds stretch all directions (8 in total), and then 4x20 seconds three places of the penis (base, mid, top, 12 in total).

Be gentle when you begin the stretch but then slowly apply power until the limit of being uncomfortably.

I’m not sure about the accuracy of this information, but, I’ve read more than a few times that extremely intense/hard stretching will harden the tissues faster and make it much more difficult to make stretching gains in the future.

I would think the same as Gatorlandon said. I would think the body then would try to build up tissue making it harder to help “resist” such a hard pull/stress but if you do light/medium power it won’t try to resist but then slowly try to adapt and change. Kinda like if you were going to steal money from some one for a long time but you don’t want them to find out about you doing it. Day one you take a dollar, day two same thing over and over and over (granit if it keeps getting replenished everyday) but if you take all 100 dollars at once I’m sure the person would fight you for it lol and then put up a wall to keep the money it has left. Only thing I could think of to try to compare it too atm but you get the idea. Thats just my suggestion but if you wana go balls to the wall be my guest

Haha nice analogy.

I have heard that a soft tug is all you need. Trying to pull as hard as you can, even if it is “comfortable” seems like it would be too much and cause retraction of the tunica.

Sometimes, after doing a long stretching routine, if I stretch down hard enough, I pop a ligament.

Getting to know your dick takes time, a lot more time than you’d think.

Go for comfortable + feeling “tired” afterwards. Pain or discomfort is not a good thing.

Anyway, and on topic, gentleness. Isn’t that what the JAI stretch is for? But I’m biased towards my penis: I’ve gotten these weird pains in weird places, and not doing anything more intense than a JAI seems to be the only thing to keep the pains from coming back. I will work my way up to more intense stretches, but over some time. So, for me and for now, gentleness. Can’t command any one to do anything, though, nor should I, nor should any one listen to me if I tried to.
