I think I ruined my penis due to pumping

Hello there,

Not so long ago I was asking here if it was okay to ejaculate after a pumping section. I received mixed opinions and then I meditated on these.

I started pumping around 10 days ago, 10 minutes a day - most of it in a high pressure, but I didn’t feel any pain although the pubic region a little above of the penis shaft. As it was a bit “strange” for me, I decided to divide this total time in four sets (2,30 min and squeezing penis outside pump for 1 minute). I never overdid it (in terms of doing more 10 minutes).

Since I got bruises on the skin (red spots) and felt it very irritated, I decided to stop and I thought everything was fine but since yesterday before I noticed my EQ very poor and I’m really scared I ruined my penis. I’m very afraid of having an ED from now and of course I’ll go to the doctor and then realize how is the situation like.. But I feel I’ll be pretty judged anyway. :( sorry for being a nuisance but I’d like to hear from you.

I know this effect can be an entirely psychological issue since I’m still able to get an erection but it’s quite weird since I have to make a certain effort to have it. I’m praying for that since I know that if the problem it’s been caused by “the upper head”, I know it’s gonna be okay with time.

Sorry about venting on here but I’m definitely scared and I definitely won’t go further with PE anymore.

Os: just to make it clear - I didn’t feel any pain in the penis itself or a painful erection. But the last ones in particular, let’s see, were “tired” ones like if I spent the whole day having sex.

What is “high pressure”? We do not recommend pumping at greater vacuum pressure than -5inHg and for some -3inHg is enough to start with.

Red spots are called petechiae and are a result of pumping at too high vacuum pressure or for too much time. In your case I think too much vacuum pressure.

When was the last time you pumped?

Do not do any PE activities and leave your penis alone for several days and I think you will be fine.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Many times on here, men just give their penis a chance to rest, and it’s fine. That’s what I think you should do. Don’t do any more PE until it’s back to normal. And never be afraid of being “judged” by your doctor. Always be completely honest with him.

I did pumping last Monday and until Tuesday it was ok I think so. Perhaps I’m too anxious because I was feeling very insecure about pumping itself but who knows.. The point is - my pump doesn’t have a gauge indicator. Cylinder, silicon ring and pump device only.

I know going to a doctor is a must and I’m going to do either way, but yes, I’m afraid of being judged once I say I did pumping. Once I suffered homophobia long time ago and let’s say I’m a bit already traumatized with penile issues (I.e. Circumcision).

Yes, a doctor might very well be judgmental, but more so because he/she just doesn’t understand pumping and PE’ing. But you know your area and doctor(s) best. Who knows, they might view pumping as some weird gay sex fetish or something.

I feel like you’ll be fine, at least based on this description.

If you don’t have any new bulging veins that won’t go away, hard knots inside your shaft, or bruises, you most probably haven’t done any permanent damage, though you may need a few days to a few weeks recovery.

This is why the experienced pumpers warn about the need for a gauge. It’s always tempting to save some money and do without, telling yourself you will be careful. Oops.

You can hurt yourself by pumping, and doing so doesn’t help PE at all. If finding a pump with a gauge is difficult where you are, look for an automotive or industrial vacuum gauge. You can use a T fitting and another piece of hose to splice it in to your existing hardware.

I hope so. I’m very terrified.

Honestly I don’t want to do PE again. After this, I pass. As I said above I had some bruises and pain in the public region - not in the penis itself. Although a I have a considerable curve. I’ll make an effort to go to the doctor asap.

What is the size (dimensions) of the cylinder you bought and of your penis?

My guess is that you bought a generic cylinder pump that are sold here, they are not customized for your dick diameter or girth, so when you pumped it must have sucked skin, internal tissues, scrotum etc.

started April 2017 BPEL 16,7cm x 13,3cm EG Last measurement BPEL 20 cm x 14,8 cm EG

My progress, thoughts and pictures

Rotated Penis? Unbalanced Ligaments? Lack of Gains through Manual Routine?

The cylinder dimensions are 9,05 in long (23 cm) x approx. 7,08 in (18 cm) diameter.
In fact, mine when is fully engorged is 16cm girth. I never intended to increase my girth - it’s already pretty big. I was about to increase 1-2 cm long (it’s around 19cm/20cm long when measured from pubic bone - I have a curved dick upwards)
