How to start after break

Hello all

Due to an injury i had to take a 7 week break. Before i stopped PE, i did clamping and hanging.

How should i start after this break? With the newbie routine again or is the break to short and i can start hanging right away?

I would prefer hanging if possible…

I don’t think you’ll have lost much conditioning but certainly start cautiously and maybe back a bit from where you were rather than going in full throttle. It’s also worth considering whether you can avoid another injury break by paring down at all.

Measure before you start back. People make gains whilst they aren’t PEing.

You want to start at the lowest weight necessary to achieve positive PI ‘s.

To gauge that I would start day one with something very basic very low itnensity and very low time and then check the feedback your body gives.
I would never start he same intensity and time as 7 weeks ago.
Just increase slowly depending on PI ‘s

I thought about the same. Just start slow and maybe hang after one week. I also think the break is not long enough to start with the newbie routine all over.

No you can do the same routine just less intensity and time.

Its not a bad thing to use less weight. Contrary the less weight you need to get gains(or positive PI ‘s) the better.

A break can help holding the weight down. Some do regular breaks to not get into territory where their dick is so tough where they need to use dangerous weight.

Since you injured yourself, I am gonna suggest you go with the Linear Newbie Routine:

It starts slowly and will allow you to ramp up after you feel your are recovered.
