How to even measure a curved dick

How to even measure a curved dick

Hi I’m new here and, despite having been a man for more than 30 years, I’ve never been sure how to correctly measure myself, mostly because of the slight curve (left, downward) on my penis. If I put a ruler straight beside my erect shaft, I get 6”, then if I add some pressure on the pubic bone it’s 6,5”, but if I use a soft ruler and let it follow the curve I get 7”, although I doubt it feels or look like a ”regular” 7” dick considering that girls don’t usually mention my size as being particularly out of the ordinary (I have a 5” girth). If I follow the curve without applying pressure on the bone it’s closer to 6,5”. So what is my ”official” size? I’d be tempted to go for the middle ground, so 6,5”, but I don’t know.

BPEL (Bone pressed) is the most accurate measurement. NBPEL (Non-bone pressed) is what is visible. The difference between the two is the thickness of the fat pad, which can change with weight loss. Unless the fat pad is very large, BPEL is what is used and is what your partner feels. Common fat pads are 3/4-1” thick, but in some cases guys have reported 3” or so.

Bone pressed means what it says- press the ruler firmly into the pubic bone. Firmly, not painfully.

For a curved dick, press the ruler into the pubic bone and try and straighten the dick with your hand, pulling it into the ruler. If you can’t straighten with your hand, then you can measure the fat pad with the ruler then use a tailer’s tape or string to measure the NBPEL by running it along the top of your penis. Do not drap it over the glans, keep it straight. Add the NBPEL length to the fat pad measurement and you have the BPEL measurement.

A key component to measuring is to be consistent. Use the same pressure for bone pressed, same placement of ruler, same ruler, etc.

Here is more detailed information:
How to Measure Your Penis

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

You’re official size is the one that you can consistently replicate. You should find BPEL easy to duplicate. I understand that we all post stats and that we want maximum stats, but it’s really the ‘change’ from starting to current size that is important.

BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"
