How do you keep yourself motivated for PE

Hi.

I have this problem for a while. Sometimes I have the energy for PEing the whole day, and the next day I’m so tired and demotivated I could barely finish the workout.

Stretching is ok, but jelqing is the problem. I can’t maintain erection levels needed for this exercise. Sometimes I’m doing the jelqs in less than 3 second moves in order to finish the workout faster when I’m not in the mood, so that probably affect the results, I.e. I’m not seeing any gains.
Lack of gains affects my morale in general, so sometimes I wonder if there’s a reason to continue, if I won’t see any results.

How could I overcome this? Do you have any motivational tips and tricks to share? What keeps you going on?

Gains certainly help for motivation. Set some realistic short-term goals. One thing with PE is that gains are longer term, so using the ruler too often can be discouraging. I wouldn’t measure more often than once per week, although measuring with a pump or after PE is encouraging.

PE is definitely possible, myself and many others here have made impressive gains from it. You simply need to convince yourself it’s possible and do it. If you are a newbie, don’t overdo it.

I was lucky and started with good girth, around 5.5” IIRC. I started with decent length, near 6”. After many years I am sooooo close to my 8 x 6 goal.

2/20: ?? NBPEL / 7.75" BPEL / 5.75" EG

Goal: 8" x 5.75", maybe coveted 8 x 6

My motive is to reach 8x6 so I keep bashing on day after day.

Really improved EQ is another motivator to keep PE as I have seen great EQ as a result of jelqing and hanging.

I first came to thunders because of an abusive ex who loved to sing about big black dicks, but those feelings have long since faded and so now my goal is to have my wife notice my growth, which oddly she hasn’t made mention of.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

I hear ya, after a long day its hard to get motivated. Try thinking of the workout as part of your day. Your day isn’t over until you’ve completed the session. That’s my mind set. As others have said, strong EQ and gains are huge motivators as well. It all depends on how bad you want it.

Okay so about 10 minutes I had been putting off doing my PE for hours. Now I came on Thunders, read few threads and I feel ready to go. So reading this forum especially ones about gains and the technical side help get me in the frame of mind where I want to try it out.

Especially after not getting any proper gains for well over a year ^^ I’m just focusing on getting 0.25 of girth and then I’ll take a break for a while. I’ll be thankful to hit that by the end of this year. So just keep going if you want your goal bad enough. It can be depressing if you set your goal to high so be realistic.

There is motivation all around this site for me. Sometimes I feel like all the time I’m spending is not worth it, and then I read, for example, Audacia’s signature, and boom. I realize I absolutely HAVE to gain. Search the site for “success” or similar, and read some success stories. That might help.

Dry jelqing isn’t messy and only takes 10 minutes per session in the Newbie routine.


Start 08/01/2013: BPEL 6.50 EG 5.70

First goal: BPEL 7.00 EG 6.00

I go to they gym twice a day and when I hit the shower I am usually turtling so that motivates me to stretch and jelq.
