Hey guys,

I need some help and advice on using penis extenders. I’ve been using an extender for the past 11 months at four hours at least per day taking one day off per week. By my calculations this is over 1000 hours in the extender. The problem is I have not gained any length during all that time - not one crummy mm.

My understanding is you’re supposed to get 1 inch for every 1000 hours in the extender. I’m clearly above this level yet I’ve not experienced any length increase.

Some things you should know:

1 I have been experiencing positive PIs, namely stronger erections. I understand from reading other posts on this site that experiencing positive PIs is a prerequisite for growth and that a person with positive PIs should keep on keeping on but still I’m confused as to why I have not experienced any length increase after all this time

2 I have sex at least three times every day. Could this be interfering in some way?

3 I’m using the X4 Labs extender with the high tension springs. Every time I put the extender on it was after a warm shower

Been using it at max tension with the bars extended all the way.

As a newbie I used the x4X for about three months with almost no gains. I suddenly started getting gains after three months after I switched to the Phallosan Forte. My hunch is that the gains did not kick in from the x4X for a while as I cannot give all of the credit to the Phallosan Forte. I found the x4X to be very uncomfortable and I disliked wearing it. In my opinion, four hours per day is not enough. I think that the minimum is 6 hours per day.

Try switching to the Phallosan. I can wear mine ten hours per day standing on my head and I can sleep with it on as well. If you are pounding the P three times per day, you are fatiguing your peen. I am envious of your virility but my guess is that you are stunting your penile growth. If you can stand it, cut back to three times per week and combine your relative abstinence with 10 hours per day in the the Phallosan. I’ll bet you your right nut that you will start to see progress and fairly soon.

I tried extending and high weight hanging after having jelqed for quite a while, but it didn’t produce any gains for me. I’ve gotten good results from low force PE methods like light pumping and light hanging though. It seems like there’s a window of force and time gives the best profile of gains.

I think maybe extenders would work better if they were only used on the lowest force setting, but it’s too hard to not crank it up to max force for me and it’s not the easiest PE technique. Another complication is that springs have variable force profiles, it’s hard to build up an idea of the best way to use an extender because you can’t really keep track of the force it’s exerting.

Has your penis become tougher during the time frame that your gains slowed and stopped from extending?

What do you mean by tougher? I haven’t noticed any change; just stopped growing. I dialed up the force a while back in the face of positive PIs.

Never saw the PF but will check it out. It makes sense with the positive PIs that I’m not wearing it long enough. It won’t be easy to cut back. I’ll have to “negotiate” that with the woman! Thanks for chiming in.

About a decade ago I used jelqing, high force stretching, and really aggressive clamping. My penis when flaccid felt tough like a baseball glove wrapped in skin.

To get any sort of expansion at that time, I had to use a lot of force using my hands, rolling pin, or a kind of clamp I made out of two pieces of plumbing pipe. Eventually I couldn’t exert enough force to cause anymore expansion and I continued doing PE for quite a while, but nothing worked.

In retrospect, I should have switched to light pumping then and just continued until the penis deconditioned to prevent a loss of the gains I had made. Or with even more retrospect, I should have just done light pumping and light hanging from the beginning.

My perspective now is that limiting the fibrosis of PE is the most important thing. It seems like any small amount of force is enough to cause gains over time. I’m not sure the technique really even matters much in that regard, what seems to matter is whether or not you’re causing a contraction response through hypoxia (over what is normal for the penis) or exerting too much force. It’s a hypothesis still, but I’ve passed the size I was able to achieve with high force methods recently so it’s looking good.
