Hello everybody,

I am in my 3rd week of diligently following the Newbie Routine.
I made few mistakes at the beginning like doing the Wet Jelq without the “wet” element (caused red spots on the shaft and the glans), doing stretches without the right grip, not shaving my genitalia, not doing the Jelq stroke properly (releasing the first hand before the squeeze of the second hand)..

I managed to correct those errors by reading several times the User Manuals and by looking at the videos.

Nevertheless I am still not sure I am jelqing the right way.
If the veterans could answer the following questions, it would be very helpful.
- To do the 10mn/200 jelqs routine, I need to re-masturbate at least 2-3 times to regain the desired erection level. Is this normal? How do you maintain the erection level during the whole exercise?
- Being not circumcised, the skin moves forward when doing stroke and I have to pulled back the skin before starting the next stroke with the second hand. My hand doesn’t “glide” on the shaft. Am I doing something wrong? Should I change lubricant?
- Regarding lubricant, I am using a $2-CVS-water based lubricant. It dries quite quickly and I have to re-apply some lubricant 2 or 3 times. Is this normal? Do you have a lubricant that can last the whole exercise?
- Sometimes, my hand hurts at the end of the exercise, probably because of the grip/squeeze. Is this normal? Is this an indication that I am doing something wrong?
-What are the signs on the penis indicating that you did a good and efficient jelqing session?

Regarding gains, it is still unclear in my opinion.
My penis feels definitely different. But I don’t know if it is because of the shaving or because of the jelqing.
Sometimes I got the impression it is heavier and softer.. Sometimes it looks longer, sometimes it looks the same.. Wishful thinking?
I got the impression that I would need to do several measurements during a day to have a clear answer.

Anyway, my objective is to reach 20cm (7.9”) over the course of 2 years.
I am very positive that I will achieve my goal. I like this new “game” more than I expected.

I’m by no means a veteran of this forum, but I’ve been at this stuff a couple years now. I’ve made a lot of the same mistakes as you.

-It shouldn’t be a problem that you have to re-stimulate to get the erection level back. Whatever you have to do. For me personally, thinking about sex or just about my unit getting bigger can make the level return. Another possibility is taking a break to clamp with your hand and kegel to get plumped again.
-I’m sorry, I can’t help with the foreskin question; I’m circumcised and have no experience with it.
-I use olive oil as a lubricant. Good for your skin and lasts most of the workout. I only have to reapply a couple times.
-Regarding your hand: You may be gripping too tightly; you shouldn’t be gripping much more tightly than you do to masturbate. Just enough to force blood through; don’t crush the thing. Another thing: When I started PE, my hands would hurt, just because it’s a workout for hand muscles that don’t usually get worked.
-For me, some good signs immediately after the jelqing session include: Plump, full hang, slight ‘expanded’ or ‘stretched’ feeling, slight tingling, but no raw, sore, or cold feelings. Those feelings are, for me, signs of too much intensity in the workout. I usually lose the full, heavy hang a few minutes to an hour later.

Use one hand (at the base of the shaft) to keep in place the skin from moving up the shaft. Failing to do this, you may end up with a turkey neck in no time!

Please, refrain from measuring too often! Daily fluctuations of the size depending on a lot of factors are significant, so you just confuse yourself noticing those unexpected changes. Let it time to grow beyond the size where random fluctuations can influence the measurements! I measure once a month and is certainly enough.
