A while back, I believe the consenses was that pumping did NOT allow PE on a permanent basis. Sure, it looks good after a session but the gains didn’t stick. When I learned that, I kind of just discarded the idea of pumping completely. But now, I’m reading some progress reports and it seems that people have been including pumping into their routines. So pumping does work? When should I start?

My current plan is to do just stretching and jelqing for a few weeks (or months) and go to hanging when lig growth slows. Should I add pumping too? If so, when? I want to slowly ease myself in so I don’t get injured but there are so many methods that I want to try.

I don’t pump, but there are some good threads on pumping that are stickied (with the yellow push-pin/thumb tack) at the head of the pumper’s forum. From what a gather as a very much of a layman’s view is that it really is a supplementary thing to other types of exercise. It “seems” to only work as a final catalyst with other methods.

If you even consider pumping, try and buy a reliable pump and not a piece of crap that you get in a dirty book store or in an ad in a “one-handed magazine”. otherwise from what I gather is you’ll only make things harder and throw your time and money away. There are threads by some really well respected members who pump and or are in the know for what is the overall best buy for a pump.

I assume once you get your pump you could start right then and add it to the end of everything else that you are doing. Think of it like taking a vitamin with your daily intake of food and other supplements. The hardest part is budgeting time really. If time is no problem all should be good.

Just don’t pressure cook your dick by putting too high of a vacuum on it, low vac is what you want and helps prevent injury.

Everything that twatt said. Finish off your newbie conditioning period of the few weeks to months as though exercises form the base of your PE and will prepare you for whatever direction you take. I think pumping combined with jelqing is very effective, so continue reading in the pumpers forum about routines and tricks of the trade. Could you post what your pumping routine was? How many times a day, duration, hg level, guage, pump, cylinder, and how long you did pumping before giving it up? Did you include any other PE excercises? Thanks.
