Does age have any effect on timely gains

Hi all. New here and 1st time posting. Just turned 45yo. Been doing PE exercises for about 4 months. Daily jelqing of 20 to 50 strokes. More recently, Every other day I do 5 directional stretches of 40 to 60 seconds. Quit using a pump about 3 weeks ago. Started at 5.5x 4.5. Went to 6L x 6.5G. After moving and suspending my exercises for about a week, shrunk back to 5.4x 5.5. Any advice or thoughts welcome. Not up on the short hand or slang terms yet, nor the variety of exercises and assisting aids. Happy new year.

In my opinion your routine is to easy going jelqing minimum 100 strokes and your should do stretching everyday to gain length. jelqinq at 50% EQ or above helps in girth gains if jelqing done below 50% EQ helps in length gains. stretching = length gains.


Started:BPEL=5.0" x MEG=4.6 .(actually I was between 4.9 and 5 so I went with 5)

Now:BPEL= 6.3 x MEG=4.8 .. :) Final goal = 7.0 BPEL x 5.2 MEG.

Don’t end up with too much edema when you pump.

How do you pump? Hg? Duration? Number of sets?

For the most part, age doesn’t affect gains. For the other part, there’s anecdotal evidence that guys under 25 gain a bit easier, either from natural growth or a youthful capacity for healing. Some guys over 65 have attributed quick gains to the ‘saggy balls’ effect; i.e. an elderly capacity for easily deforming tissues that become more inelastic with age. And then there’s the occasional story of a middle aged guy who lost some size since youth, usually due to some health problems, and quickly regains that lost size.

I’m a year older and gains are coming along nicely. Like BD stared I think as I grow older tissue is a but more supple and conducive to gaining.

Age can bring a level a patience that seems to escape many of the younger men.

Patience is a key ingredient to successful PE, however, there is certainly no shortage of impatient guys representing any/every age group, especially when it comes to PE.

It is better to do less more quality jelqs than many jelqs. Firegoat and I have been posting this for years now. How do we know?

After 15 minutes in the shower.

20 to 50 morning and evening jelqs of 5 seconds daily’

Stretches outward, up, down, left and right for 40 seconds.

Quit using a pump about a month ago. Mixed info using that. Know it seemed to help with girth, but made it difficult to do other exercises.

I think it was likely I was doing jelqs wrong for the 1st month. I had a massive increase in girth that subsided when I had to stop exercises for a few days. Was curious as to how long before gains remain permanent

I’m that “occasional guy” who lost some length over the years. I’m 41 and I am in perfect health but the old adage if you don’t use it you lose it applies to me. In my 20’s I measured 8.2 BPEL. Now I’m 7.2 and have very low EQ requiring occasional Cialis supplementation. I’m about a week into my newbie routine and I have realized significant progress.

I think success depends upon a healthy body, a healthy mentality and proper supplementation.

Welcome, How lack. Congrats on the gains. I think you’ll quickly regain any lost size and improve EQ.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the encouragement. I will definitely keep going.

I would also like to add that the older you are the more likely your mind and your experience will overcome whatever you might lose with age. I remember when I first started having difficulties with my erections. I was 38 at the time and with the woman who just recently became my wife. ED was very hard on me (forgive the pun). It was emotionally, psychologically and even spiritually damaging. I literally cried in my wife’s arms one night. Imagine a 6’3” 240lb baby. Life rains on us all. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this difficulty made me a stronger more experienced man. I learned from it and adapted.

Now, through knowledge, experience, caution and tenacity, I’m making a comeback. I did not have these traits when I was young. Now I will succeed and so will you.
