Did Novocaine Give Me a Hard Erection

I got ED. I went to the dental office this week to get a tooth pulled out. They injected me with Novocaine to numb the pain from pulling it out. For the next 2 days, I felt a hard penis. Can anyone explain why this is so? Is it the Novocaine that did it?

Not sure about Novocain but I have heard nurses and surgical assistants joke about how they’ve seen patients get erections while under general anesthesia.

Perhaps there it’s something in this. But more importantly, what is the cause of your ED, and what have you done to rectify it? PE isn’t just about growing the penis, it’s also about having a healthy functioning one.

74zowee86, just to correct you, I don’t plan on ever using p/e. Its very dangerous and thousands of men have reported permanent impotence. My ED was caused by a medication that was forced upon me for a month.

Go see a urologist and report what you experienced. Ask if you can try it again under his/her supervision so he can record the results.

If an anesthetic can help with ED your urologist might like to look into it some more. Some big advancements in medicine occur because of unusual cases like these, and it’s worth a lot of prestige for doctors to be able to put their name to discovering it.
