Clamping - increased expansion, no gains

Hi all,

Been PEing for 4 months. Contrary to my nickname I am a fast length-gainer but slow on girth (have tried most manual exercises). To change that I started clamping 5 weeks ago. I now do 4 sets of 7 minutes every other day. Although my expansion has increased from 0.5 cm -> 1.5 cm while clamped, there are no real gains.

Is it generally so that expansion comes first, then real gains? In five weeks I thought I see something.

I warm up with heat and apart from clamping I do manual stretches every day. My EQ is decreased, but mainly due to the stretches since my BPSFL has increased. Currently BPSFL is 0.8 cm longer than BPEL, when I started it was 0.4 cm longer. But it could also be that I am overdoing it with the clamping, even though I only do it every other day. EQ usually drops the day after.

While clamped I have a full erection throughout, that might also be a factor. I don’t seem to get expansion if I let the erection subside.

You are doing near 30 minutes of clamping - it’s not a light work. Clamping should enhance dramatically your EQ, so if it is going down something is wrong. Basing on that, I’d say your guess is right: you are overdoing.

I’d like to know also what has been your previous PE work.

I have been stretching everyday for 4 months. During this time I have increased BPSFL an inch. That is a very good gain I believe, but my unit is looking increasingly thin.
Due to this my EQ went down, as my BPEL did not increase as much (1/4 inch less).

To fix EQ I started clamping. For the first week of clamping EQ was going up, and BPEL came closer to BPSFL. But after a week or so EQ was going down again. But I think this was for other reasons (I. E. Over training). I then changed from 2 days on 1 day off to 1 day on 1 day off clamping and saw some improvement in EQ. Now it seems it is dropping again. The reason I do 4*7 minutes is that I see the most expansion in the last set and rather take extra rest instead.

I have however seen theories about doing girth work often rather than long sessions, so maybe shorter sessions more often is better?

For the first three months I did besides stretching do jelqs, dry jelqs, o-bends and Ulis. One random week I saw a spurt of 0.5 cm girth increase, other than that nothing. While 0.5 cm might not seem bad in 4 months, it felt very random and other weeks seem wasted. Rather have slow steady gains so I know I am doing things right. My length gains have been very consistent.

I measure every week and write down every workout session (and for example the expansion I get every clamping session), so I have a lot of data.

I think 2-3 sets * 5 minutes each are the max most people need when clamping. Instead than a 1 on/1 off, I’d say a 2-3 on /1 off is better; also, don’t dismiss jelqs.

Those are just my very personal opinions, somebody else would like to chime in, probably; listen a couple of them and then make up own opinion.

For the clamping/pumping theory I personally believe that this works well since pumping attacks tunica while clamping mostly attacks the muscle and inner parts. I have been looking for a manual exercise that do a similar thing as pumping (stretching tunica in the non-longitudinal direction) but so far have not found anything working. Maybe O-bends if I could get those to work. (Or I will just have to buy a pump, but I would prefer manual exercises for stealth).

Why not trying wearing a cock ring to retain the expansion for a while after clamping? Just an idea. Combining pumping and clamping would be just too much for you right now, IMHO.

Might be a good idea. I don´t see much expansion after clamping, it goes back to normal size pretty fast.

I have started 3*5 minutes, 2 days on, 1 day off now. Got 4 mm less expansion, but long-term gains will hopefully be better. Will update.

Sounds like your EQ went down because you were overtraining. You beat your dick to hell!

Adding **more** exercise is not going to ‘fix EQ’ if that is the case. Especially an exercise as stressful as clamping, and for the durations you describe.

More than likely you just need to take some days off and let your unit recover and heal. Then you can come back with a more reasonable routine

Thanks for reply. I have read those, so I was choosing from taking a break or adding an exercise that trained the smooth muscle(based on a theory that prescribed if you should target length or girth dependent on BPFSL/BPEL ratio). I personally think you can stretch the tunica unlimited amounts without fatigue, might be wrong. I avoid targeting ligaments when stretching. But I realize I overdid it with the clamping. EQ is already much better. I will take a deconbreak once results slow completely (no measurable gains in 3 weeks).

I’ll second the jelly ring idea (or clamp setup backed off a bit); if you can wear it for at least a few hours after a session (or until the pump pretty much dissipates), that may help as well. From what I’ve read, girth gains are a bit slower than length gains; perhaps 5 weeks is a bit too early to see gains? Hope you gain soon…

The 1.5cm expansion sounds promising. I think if you give it time you will see girth gains. The best session length for clamping is personal. You have to figure out yourself what length works best for you based on intensity of the clamp and the condition of your penis. The tighter the clamp the shorter your sessions should be. So if you want to clamp for 7-10 mins don’t clamp too tight. You can do some edging and/or watch porn to stay erect.

Btw are you using a hoseclamp or a cableclamp?
