I’m just starting out, not for enlargement (although happy with any bonus gains), but to improve my erections and hardness.

Can anyone guide me as to what the best things to focus on are? I was looking through and thinking of trying the newbie routine and some basic pumping for a few months. Any recommendations?

I don’t really have ED, I’m just not as hard for as long now I’m getting older and I’d like to be able to get back to being able stay hard for around an hour during sex.

Kegels! Do kegel exercises, they will do wonders with your hard on!

I am 32, started to do kegels each day, for 5 months now. Now my erection is as hard as it was in 20ies.

Kegels work, but in my opinion, are not for everyone. If you have a tight pelvic floor, kegeling (even 3x5 min, 1 day on, 1 day off, targeting the IC - so doing proper kegels), you might end ejaculating quicker than before.

My routine makes me kegel already, and it was too much for me. So my advice would be to ease in, not overdoing it, and add more reverse kegels than kegels, if you encounter the same problem.

Jelqing and light pumping are good exercices for blood flow, like others said, indeed.
