Bathmate Max Pressure

I have the bathmate hydro7 and I’ve heard max pressure is about 10.47 Hg. I’ve also heard that you really only need 5 Hg to get significant gains. So does that mean I should just pump it halfway to max pressure? I’ve gotten petechiae before from using max pressure. No wonder if it’s 10 Hg max.

I bought a bathmate some time ago and quickly discovered that the pressure was way too high. Busted blood vessels, fluid build up. All the normal culprits. Some time later I bought some LA pump cylinders and a gauge. All I can say if you’re going to push forward with that device is keep it low as you can and still feel it working. Personally I wished I had just bought a gauged pump to begin with as I abandoned the bathmate after a very short period as its so unpredictable and difficult to gauge. 4-5 hg turned out to be more than enough to generate a response for me. But again who knows what that is on a bathmate. Best of luck, didn’t exactly answer your question but hopefully it’s of some help.

The main reason I’ve went with bathmate is its ability to slightly increase length while increasing girth greatly. A lot of air pumps you have to use two seperate cylinders to get length and girth gains. That’s really bathmates one advantage. I guess I will see how many pumps it takes to get to max pressure and then try to half that and maybe eventually get to 3/4ths max pressure.

Whaaaaaat? Really bad information here. One tube can work girth and length. If one prefers to grow length and not girth, then using a smaller diameter tube to pack the tube can be helpful.

Well I’ve always heard you mainly gain girth with bathmate, but you get some length gains as well. I’ve used Dr Joel Kaplans pumps before and you have to use one cylinder for length and one for girth. That’s what I was saying.

The hydromax7 is about what, a 2.25” cylinder? You’d get the same results from any other 2.25” cylinder on the market. The application of vacuum, let alone the brand, doesn’t change the physics of it. It’s still just vacuum in a cylinder.

The best way to gauge a safe vacuum level without a gauge is, like I said in your other thread 114life - Red Dots Petechiae, watch your glans. Counting the pumps isn’t good enough, in my opinion. I have done the count method and it’s too inconsistent. The pump count/vacuum level can change +/- depending on your EQ when you enter. You should just watch your glans. I’m not saying you need to, but if pumping is something you really want to make a career out of, my only other suggestion is get a gauged setup. No counting, no guessing.
