Has anyone shaved their balls with this?

I’m curious about it, maybe I’ll get one, but I want to know if the claims are true? I tend to get ingrowns easily no matter what method i try, i only shave my face top to bottom and never get a smooth shave just to prevent bumps.

I’m not to sure of all the rules here. But I don’t think you can spam your products here.

They make it sound good and they do address the testicles, but I have only used the Mach3.

I know you’re trying to be helpfull and all, but think a little bit about how flippant and rude that seems.

I’ve been using one for about a year now and I really like it. I find it gets things just as smooth as a real razor and I haven’t had any problems with ingrown hairs or skin irritation. However, my girlfriend borrowed it once and complained that it did cause a little irritation the next day.

It does take a little while to figure out how to use it effectively but once you get the hang of it makes “delicate” shaving pretty quick. It only really works when the existing hair is really short so you can’t go too long between trimmings. I also find it works a lot better when you use baby powder on the area beforehand.

I constantly get cuts on my balls from using a Mach 3 razor, you know little nicks and whatnot, nothing big but it’s somewhat of a pain

I just got the Seiko S-Yard Model ES-1080 Personal Shaver, the new model in the Seiko line, but did not even try to use it on my balls. I’ve always had good luck with just using a plain old regular razor and shaving cream for those.

The Seiko Cleancut is the ‘real brand’, the bodybare is actually a generic shaver that many companies distribute. Basically, did you want the Japanese model or the Chinese knock-off?

Personally, I bought the Bodybare for my girlfriend and wasn’t all that impressed with the packaging. The item itself is nice but the trimmer it comes with is trash. I should have spent the extra $15 to get the Seiko and trimmer. Amazon carries it.

You can still get nicks but the design is really good. No ingrown hairs whatsoever.

Lampwick, can we have your review of the 1080? Particularly as compared to the 412? Thanks.

I can’t compare to the 412, since I don’t have one of those, but I will put a quick review of the 1080 up soon.

An Australian product called ‘Ingrow Go’ is very good if you suffer from close shaving and folliculitis

I had one of those but for me it didn’t work well at all. I just use my Braun electric shaver and it works perfectly. No nicks or cuts.

I get desperate sometimes and go for the weed eater….:D
