Winstrol?

Itsme,

Thank you much for posting that. For some reason, that was the main thing I had doubts about (whether or not it would have any effect in men because of physiological differences). The whole hormonal synergy was cool to learn about though. :)
(However, I don’t think I would try to change my body chemistry to that of a female when trying to make a dick grow :p )

Either way, if you could balance the amount you use such that the newly generated cells are all used on replacing cells of collagen that were at the edges of any microtears that were generated through PE, it would not still stand to make them stronger would it? Also, drinking a lot of water increases the production of collagen, but some people have said to have seen a correlation between water intake and gains. For all we know, the reason some people might not be gainers is because the cells that are being replaced are not being replaced with the most healthy cells. Perhaps the people who are big gainers have naturally weak collagen crosslinks. There is so much speculation that could potentially be involved, but all great discoveries begin as questions. I'm grateful there are places like this where ideas can be shared to arrive at the answers more quickly.

I would have thought that the cells would form around the trauma site purely as an attempt to avoid repeated trauma. Whether the wound is held open or if it is closed would be of little concern to the body. I believe that is why viagra and other methods of tumescence are sometimes claimed to be helpful in gains. I guess good hydration would help in that sense too.

I would also expect that more collagen would engourage greater return to the original shape once unloaded. I think of this like over extending springs, except that in our case, the weight of the vessel alone could overcome much of the return, especially with an ADS.

Also, along with Shivers earlier posts with heat, I believe a heated sock like device could greatly benefit those who are using ADS right now.

That sounds like a good idea. Are either of you currently trying it? From what I have read, heat can substantially increase the elasticity of collagen. While the tissue is still heated, l would doubt much plastic deformation is taking place. When the heat dissipates though, the threshold for plastic deformation is back to what it would be, with the advantage of being stretched further than you could have previously stretched it (thus more tissue in the plastic deformation threshold … essentially more tissue in a state of yielding or occurance of microtrauma). Perhaps repeated heating with an ADS?

I am currently off all excersises for about another week. I will be revisiting the heat method when I’m back on though, as it provided the fastest (though short lived) gains I’ve ever seen. I have a Jes extender, but it’s hardly what I’d call an ADS, so I can’t comment on the viability of the two mixed together.

I don’t have an ADS as of yet. I have to pick and choose my sups at the moment because of my ever dwindling resources.

Your plan does sound good. Maybe someone with an ADS would like to volunteer?

Sorry to hear you lost your gains. :( but why did you take time off when you were making the fastest gains you have ever seen (if you don’t mind my asking that is of course)? So you don’t care for the Jes Extender? Are you considering trying another ADS? or making one maybe?

I would if I had an ADS … how much can I get a good one for? I really don’t want to try just ADS though (just getting into hanging), so I couldn’t verify the effectiveness of the ADS alone. I would only know that it had positive effects if I gained more during the next 2 months than I did the previous months (especially considering my tissues should be at least slightly more difficult to stretch). Even an equal gain would, unfortunately, prove nothing.

I didn’t lose the gains, I just stopped gaining. I gained 1/16 each day for 6 days on the run, then after that nothing! The interesting thing is that these were BPFSL gains, thought BPEL didn’t change at all initially. Over the following weeks the BPEL gains caught up. I am hoping that this is a sign that the whole cycle can now be repeated. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I’m going on holiday in a few days time, and won’t have the privacy to PE. It is for this reason that I have decided to take some time off.

If you’ve never tried it then I would definately recommend it. I’m just hoping it is repeatable, and not a one time thing.

I am waiting with baited breath to see what DLD’s new stretching device will be. I’ve committed to buying one, so that may influence my future routine, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop investigating the kind of things we have discussed in this thread. Besides, I find it very absorbing reading! Boredom is my greatest enemy in PE, and finding new things to try is what keeps me interested.

I believe the most cost efficient one is the Penimaster. I believe you can get it for $170. I think SWM made some nice modification to it in another thread. If you have the available resources to attempt such an experiment then do so. I would think someone already using the PM might want to volunteer since the use of heat is non hormonal.

If Winstrol is still your plan, then I wouldn’t hang or atleast at a lower weight than before.

b0ne is having major problems gaining. Similar to Shiver a few months ago. Maybe he is the ideal candidate for the use of heat? These are the people that I want to help here.

If you would, Shiver, if you could attempt to help him out with your theories?

Sure Cya, Have I missed a post somewhere? I haven’t been on the forum for a couple of days prior to today.

I know I said earlier that I was taking some time off, but all this talk got me interested again, and I’ve just done a 15 minute rice sock/stretch cycle (3 times). I measure 1/16 better right now than I have ever done before. So scrap that idea of taking a break, I’ll repeat this until my holiday departure and see if the previous routine is repeatable.

B0ne, if there’s anyway I can help a fellow member then shout up!

Hell yeah! :)

Soon,

Are you still planning a Winstrol trial or have you decided to go another route?

Great Thread, how could I have missed this? It was a hard one to translate but i think i got the important parts :) . The point is that you you heat under the whole session so that the ligs and tunica wont be cooled down? I will definitely try this. Great investigation!!!

My Goal: 8"x6" - Currently: 7,5"x4,8" |-| Gains So far: Lenght: 0.5" Girth: 0" - Just going for girth ATM

I’m going to do research to see what all can be done to counteract MPB (as that is something I definitely don’t want have to deal with at my age … or any age for that matter :) ) and make my decision based on my findings. Either way, while I research I will be making sure to add heat every other set I hang and traction wrap afterwards and will hopefully be ordering an ADS soon. I have already taken steps to eliminate things from my diet that increase the strength of collagen in the meantime. If I’m lucky, maybe I’ll even be able to tell that this approach works better than my previous one before I try supplements (which I would still strongly consider trying supplements even if such is the case). I’ll post back here when I make a final decision on trying Winstrol, and update accordingly if I do.
