However, I cannot find information as to what kind of Tribulus Terrestris to take. It seems as if there are different kinds… German, etc… Any suggestions about this?

Also, there is a plethora of different supps out there. So many so that I am bewildered as to which ones would be good for me to try. I have recently (1 week) been taking 1 gram of L-arganine two times a day on an empty stomach. However, I have not yet noticed anything. I’m not really impatient, I’ll finish the bottle before passing judgment.

However, I am curious about other supps. Below is a list of things that I have considered buying (Those marked with (*) are the ones that I have especially been considering.) Does anyone rate any one of the following above the rest? It would be interesting to see what supps different people prefer.

I have recently (1 week) been taking 1 gram of L-arganine two times a day on an empty stomach. However, I have not yet noticed anything. I’m not really impatient, I’ll finish the bottle before passing judgment.

One week is barely long enough for something to happen. L-arginine is a very recommended supplement. I’d up it to 3 gm per day.

Ginkgo Biloba - This can interfere with platelets and you might bruise easily on the recommended amounts. It doesn’t help with PE in my opinion.

Wow, thanks for all of the responses.

I realize that there are many different threads regarding these different supps. I suppose I was looking to create a comparative thread, where we could balance them against each other. Regardless, I’ll read the threads you posted because it will help me learn.

I have lots of reading to do.

I’ll post again when I come up with something.

For example:

It seems to me that Maca and Epimedium are very similair. They are both natural. They both have been used for centuries. Many people swear by the both of them. So I wonder, has anyone experimented with both of them? Did they produce the same results for you? Did one work better than the other.

I’m just trying to see how the different supps work relative to each other. thanks! :)

Lamesize, I forgot to thank you for your response - sorry about that. I have been considering taking that for a while, but I am not sure since many people seem to think it doesn’t work and is all placebo. Oh well, I guess everything doesn’t work for everyone.

Yo, I take the L-argenine all day and I take the L-lysine at bed time, about 4 hours later.

As for the DHEA, I’m thinking I’m not gonna be taking that. I’ve read some bad stuff on it.

Ginkgo biloba (general overview) is recommended for many things including improving memory, eye (retina) problems, leg pain due to poor circulation, ringing of the ears and erectile dysfunction (when due to a circulatory problem). Many of these disorders seem to be treatable with this botanical because it interferes with platelet agglutination (keeps them from sticking together). Platelets are the component of the blood that is one of the first steps in forming a clot when a blood vessel is physically damaged or has internal wall damage due to atherosclerosis.

Because some drugs also have the ability to prevent platelets from sticking together, taking ginkgo along with aspirin, ibuprofen or specific “blood thinners” is not a good idea. My statement about bruising came from personal experience. I tried ginkgo a couple years ago as a memory aid. Even though I wasn’t taking aspirin or ibuprofen except for the occasional headache, I noticed that I bruised easier. This may not happen for everyone.

I don’t see any PE benefit from taking ginkgo. Unless you have diagnosed (not supposed) poor penile circulation which is causing problems with erections, taking ginkgo will not contribute to improved gains from PE exercises. You don’t need to “thin the blood” for jelqs to work and you might cause more red dots, purple spots or outright bruising if you did take it.

For some reason, I tend to believe whatever westla says.

Does anyone here take Epimedium or Maca on a regular basis?

I’ve taken Ginko since I started PE, and haven’t found any negative side effects like those. But here is something you should also read since you do take arginine which produces Nitric Oxide.
“NO also inhibits the aggregation of platelets and thus keeps inappropriate clotting from interfering with blood flow.”
This is from a document on Nitric Oxide effects:here.

So taking Arginine will apparently do the same thing as you said Ginko would according to this.
But I think this is good, because it would actually help us avoid thrombosed veins.

What do you think about this Westla?

I have taken Tonkat ali for 3 weeks 1 gm 40:1 (root ratio) : mild to good effet

I have taken Yohimbe 450 mg (0.5 % yohimbine ) : mild effect

I am taking 1-2 gm arginine, + 500 mg borage oil + 1000 mg fish oil…: mild to good effect…

I have ordered an ayurvedic potion….I will tell you…..

For me what is important about supplements is to help your penile recover quickly from PE (bruising……red spot….) and I think that borage oil is excellent, arginine also….flay oil, eat a lot of vegetables, (carrotes)….

Seems we had this discussion in another era before I became “alum.”

Take 10-15 grams. You must find YOUR dose. If you get upset stomach, just work up a gram every other day or so.

I take prilosec for acid indigestion as well.
I don’t know which of these is doing it, but I’ve had bad gas for a couple weeks, and that was when I started on the L-argenine at first and then the other stuff. Personally, I think the L-argenine is causing the gas. I’m not taking the DHEA anymore.

I wish there was someone that could make up a definitive plan for all this crap. I could care less about drugs for PE gains. I don’t really think drugs help that. I’m trying to get erections like when I was younger, and be hornier. I think I’m just gonna stay on the following and see how it goes
