Question re nitric oxide and erections

Question re nitric oxide and erections

Hey guys,

We know for sure that increased nitric oxide helps to ‘plump’ the flaccid and produce enhanced erections. The use on here of various NO / Arginine based products (plus my own experiences with such products) proves this.

My question is why do nitric oxide levels reduce? What causes some of us to ‘need’ the extra NO boost? I can’t find a thing online about the reasons for this decline..

Thanks
WI

Nictric oxide is released from skeletal muscles during exercise along with HGH and testosterone Depending on the exercised performed like running for instance produces more NO2 than walking. If you don’t know by now what NO2 does in the blood please research for yourself to get the medical facts down. I know that NO2 is an amino acid like chemical that is responsible for activating certain prostaglandins that dialate blood vessels for a few hours provided there is no fat from a meal slowing it’s track through the blood stream. This process also takes a lot of blood sugar which is why you may feel tired after a fist full of Arginine pills.

As far as I know the only medical reason for taking arginine is if you just had a new heart replacement or are now a burn victim in ICU but the arginine they give them is in IV form. All the research you will find about arginine on humans, rats, or pigs is all IV. And these NO2 pills did not become to be until the late 90s with little advances except for added vitamin C or french pine tree extract for an additional $20 to the big tub of sugary crap for sale at GNC.

I personally found after years and years of cycling NO2 products for pe, they were just a waste of money. You can get the same benefits from pe on an empty stomach first thing in the morning or a few hours after a meal just be sure to eat a smal balanced meal when you’re done with your routine.

With the exception of otc Maxidus, and Rock Hard Weekend, my experience is the same. I have taken up to 7 gr of l-argenine ethyl ester, with little or no significant effect. I have used Viagra (up to 100 mg) for over 15 years. I have learned that Viagra is mostly a waste of time if I take it on a full stomach. I need to wait at least 4 or 5 hours in order for it to be effective.

Supplements can be useful but it’s generally only 10% of all your added effort put together. That’s why I stopped all supplements except for a little caffeine, creatine, and MCT oil for my gym workouts and rely more heavily on food than what a factory can put in a bottle and market as cutting edge technology.

My pe supplement stack is very simply… I just take 200 mg of caffeine as soon as I wake up with a glass of water right before pe. Now most guys stay away from caffeine because they fear it will hamper their erections but a little amount will actually increase adrenaline a little and give you the boost needed to have sex or pe. 200mg for me is a small dose for my bodyweight and size but others may only need 100mg or 50mg, which would be a small cup of coffee without milk or sugar, or 2 cups of green tea.

As far as a pe related diet, I have experimented with everything from bodybuilding diets when I wasn’t working out to vegan diets while performing pe. The only thing that worked to get my penis bigger and keep bodyfat levels the same or decrease them was quite simply a high protein diet (mostly chicken and fish with beef only once a week) , regular amounts of healthy fats from olive oil, mct oil, or some from the lean meats themselves (but never eaten any sooner than 2 hours before pe) and lower carbs from mostly high fiber or green vegetable sources (you’ll need some after pe but not much more than 10-20 grams so have an orange or something).

Thanks guys, but none of you actually answered my question.

Maybe you need to re frame the question ?

NO levels reduce under what circumstances ?

As far as I know there’s no medical “low NO” condition so do you mean reduce with age, poor health etc ?

As we age. the blood vessels and surrounding tissue start to deteriorate and react more slowly to the effects of NO. The level of NO may not decline, but the condition of the blood vessels and surrounding tissue require higher levels of No to react as we expect them to.

This is my non professional opinion based on extensive reading on the subject.

If he is asking about NO for erections then DT you are spot on. It’s not that the older men lack the hormones to get an erection, it’s that they produce too many of the hormones that kill erections.
