I have bought a new extender. It’s an X4 Labs. Due to my work schedule I will likely not be able to wear it all day everyday. I work away for a week at a time and am wondering if I could get away with only wearing it 3-4 hours a day at night. Also, should I start with light tension or hard tension? There is a pump that comes with the package I bought, is it any good?

Not sure about the quality of the pump that comes with it.

3-4 hours in the evening is great. Some days, if I can pick up two hours I’m happy.

It’s cumulative, so get your hours whenever you can and watch your PI’s.

Start with the first index line while you are acclimating and then begin experimenting with higher tensions. Go by feel, if you feel like it is too much, back it down a bit.

I extended for 3 to 4 hours and gained close to an inch; however, it took about four years. I started using tension of about 600 gr and after over six months, I moved up to between 800 - 900 grs

Sounds like you have the same extender that I have. Off the top i can’t tell you what one it is. Springs rated at 4200 grams? Start at low tension and work up there. If you max out the springs you’re a lot of a man then I am. As far as the pumps goes it doesn’t have gauge so I most likely won’t be using it. If I do it might be in the hot tub. Right now it is sitting in the back of the closet.

I would base the tension on the duration of the session. Keep the tension low till the session duration is brought up to 60 minutes and then increase the tension while maintaining the duration.

How long have you been using your device? How do you like it? And how much have you gained? Do you do other things extra?
