I just want to clarify the hanging set angles and duration if people out there are confused.

Here is what my typical week looks like: (example)
Day 1: 1 hour of hanging BTC at morning & 1 hour SD hanging at night = 2 hours
Day 2: 1 hour of hanging SD at morning & 1 hour hanging SO at night = 2 hours
Day 3: 1 hour hanging SD (morning or night)
Day 4: 1 hour of hanging SD at morning & 1 hour hanging BTC at night = 2 hours
Day 5: 1 hour of hanging SO
Day 6: 1 hour of hanging at morning SD & 1 hour hanging SD at night = 2 hours
Day 7: 1 hour hanging BTC
Add up all the hours = 11 hours

Let’s break it down to a session….
-Hang for 20 minutes
(5 minute break)
-Hang for 20 minutes
(5 minute break)
-Hang for 20 minutes
(5 minute break)
Add up the sets = 1 hour

I mix it up. Some days 1 hour, some days 2 hours. It’s random. The key to hanging success is to hang pretty much everyday for at least 10 hours a week

-Actual pictures of your full hanging accessories and/or the hanger unit.
-Your pictures of how you wear the hanger to know the best ways to wear them.
-Before and after pictures of your gains if you have a record of it.

All these will go a long way in helping people have a concise approach to PE through hanging. Thanks

I don’t have any before pictures. I really don’t feel comfortable uploading my Johnson to the internet for everyone to see…nothing wrong down there but it’s more of a personal thing. But here’s a picture of my hanger…very simple. I recommend that you design your own cushion/padding system that best fits you.

I am going to try hanging from next month using the extender that I have and a filled bottle. I don’t think what I’ve got is going to be that good for hanging so I was thinking of starting with about 1 lb weight. Plus I thought it might help me to start off at a low weight. I could put more water in it to get it up to 2 lbs, I’m not sure how that would work out.

I can’t really afford the LG Hanger atm, not at the full prices anyway.

One thing that gets me is that the LG Hanger seems like so much complicated hassle. Attachments, lengths, girths, whatever. And all the setting it up.

Tbh I just wish I had an instruction manual, tailor made just for me.

Awesome GokusPecs! I started 8/27 with my "hang every day no matter what" routine at 1lb and move up 1/3lb every 2 weeks. Slowly making it up the weight ladder. I went from 6" to 8" from vac hanging about a decade ago and just decided I’m going to see if I can make it into the double digits this time. I use a heat pad as a 10 min warmup and it helps with all the damn fatigue I get after my 1st 30 min set. Then apply while taking 10 min breaks. Keep up the awesome work. You gained from hanging daily. BIB has articles on how it’s most beneficial to hang daily and get about 10 hours a week. Looks like you know that though.

That’s awesome. It pretty much confirms that if you’re going to hang, you have to hang almost everyday to see real results.

1. How much weight did you use to get from 6 to 8"?

Read all my posts throughout this thread. I provided a lot of information with pictures if you’re still undecided. From what I understand, hanging is the best method for length gain. You just have to do it almost everyday (minimum 10h/week)

Do you think just doing it in one direction (straight down) would work ? This would be easier.

I don’t think so…I think the best way to get the most out of each weight is to hit all angles as much as possible as long as possible before moving up the weight.

I just do SD, BTC, and sometimes SO. It may vary for different people

How do you hit all the angles without making a rig with a pulley?

Heh, I get you. I like to browse my computer whilst hanging though, I feel like I would get bored, although I do think I would benefit from SO hanging as well.

If I let the weight plates catch on the edge of my office chair and scoot back a bit on the chair I can get a kind of SO hang although it would be more of a stretch with the weights just acting as an anchor.
