As you gain conditioning, you should work up to a total of 30 minutes for your routine. Either 3, 10 minute pumps or 2, 15 minutes sets. That amount of time is needed to start getting significant expansion.

Tube with holes in them are very low end in quality, so as you gain experience you will probably want to get something better with no hole or rubber booties for sealing. I started out with a cheap tube like yours and put a piece of tape over the hole.

I believe that using lower pressures for longer times is a much better way to get lasting results with no side effects such as red spots or discoloration while maintaining excellent EQ. After trying to make higher pressures work for years, I now pump at only 3”hg and can go for routine lengths of 30 to 60 minutes with no adverse effects while still achieving excellent expansion.

The length of the tube is not as important as the diameter as long as your head is not contacting the end of the tube. When you select a tube where the diameter is a little to large, you have the problem of your balls being sucked into the tube and that is uncomfortable. That is why a 1.75” tube will be better for you.

Ah I see. The trouble is I am struggling to find a good one with 1.75” for a reasonable price….

I would check out picturebrite.com and look at the P131 pump and P127 cylinder. They do ship overseas and that will cost you a little extra, but the base price and quality are excellent.

Just curious… I just started using an elliptical tube from Vacu-Tech and averaging between 3 x 10min sets at -4-5 inHg per day to 6 X 10min sets at the same negative pressure per day (depending if its a work day off for me). The tube dimensions are: 1.25” X 1.75” X 9”. I am also using liquid tadalafil and watching porn to keep erect inside the tube which have been working great so far. Doing some kegels while in tube; also jelqing and doing a combo Uli/horse 440 in between sets (5-10min)…

My dimensions are 6” X 4” erect, but my glans is about 5.1”. Mid shaft I’m 4” and base about 4.5”.

I notice when I pump that my glans are touching the sides of the tube, but my shaft isn’t. My base is starting to touch the top part of the tube, but not the sides.

So here’s my question: Should I get a larger diameter tube or should I wait for the shaft to catch up with the glans? My concern is that the glans is “preventing” negative pressure from reaching the shaft.

Ok so I have been pumping for a couple days now and I notice that I have a donut for about 20 minutes then goes away? Is that normal as in goes away so quick or when someone gets a donut does it stay longer? Also I can’t tell if I have a donut until I get out of the tube and I have a clear tube from la pump. I guess my main question is are donuts supposed to go away that quick or if it’s normal. I keep the pump between 3-5hg.

Dang I just went into a shop and bout one thought it would be nice and usable for a while because of the price. Any way to upgrade the pump that I have for the time being? Also if I put tape over it how do I let the pressure out of the pump? And any idea on how to replace the little rubber thing at the bottoms the hole is way to small for me. It’s annoying after pumping it’s hard to take off the rubber cap part. Oh my tube is 9inch long and not sure how wide maybe 2 inch round. And thanks for your advice.

I did get one of these collars. They’re not designed for tubes with flanges (like the Lapdist), but are stretchy enough to work anyway. This provides a massive cushion! Also, the inner part of the collar is only about 1” in diameter, which acts as a constrictor. What I like is that there is *no way* any extra parts are going to get sucked into the tube(skin, balls). The constriction also acts like a cock ring, which I feel as more internal pressure. Similar to clamping, but nowhere near as intense. I’m hoping this eventually helps with girth. Good product!

Pull the tape off. I probably got the same cheapy cylinder you have, I bought a good pump from harbor freight. I have been using it off and on for 2 years. I use a piece of electrical tape it will stick back on it, I just pull the edge of the tape up to release the pressure.

This thread goes back many years and to be honest, I haven’t yet had the time to read every single post on here.

However, the original poster mentioned that he did not feel pumping would result in permanent gains. Is this still the school of thought or does the PE community believe that with manual work (I.e. Jelqing and stretching), combined with pumping, the gains will be permanent?

The reason I ask is that once I achieve a certain size, I will want to maintain this. With this in mind, I would not want to exceed my goals nor would I want to have to rely on pumping for the rest of my life to maintain my size.

It sounds like you haven’t even read the original post; which just happens to be ‘the’ definitive one on pumping.

Pumping gains are permanent, I stopped pumping ( barely did much PE this year) for most of this year and am back again, I have not lost anything in length, perhaps just a little of my former vascularity and girth, but its minimal, I will be able to get it back after a week of pumping. Pumping is for real and in my case the most efficient form of PE.

Really? I read somewhere that pumping doesn’t result in perm gains! Like Mr_Scream did!

Yeah what’s your routine dude?

I’m a non-believer when it comes to pumping.
