I’ve been doing PE off and on inconsistent for a few years and haven’t had much gains

I’m thinking of developing an hour every morning before work to pumping, maybe some manual stretching before hand

So far it seems everyone recommends getting a tube that you can pack, and pumping at low pressure

(1) My first question is - is the elongation that I achieve pumping is the same whether I have a tube that I pack or not… Then won’t gains be the same?

For example, I can reach just almost 7.25 length in a 2.5” tube that I can’t pack

And I can reach that same exact length in a 1.75” tube that I do pack

If gains are the same I’d rather use the tube I don’t pack, because it’s easier to get into flaccid (I can’t always get hard), and because I dont like the risk of blisters that comes along with packing

(2) my second question has to do with frequency and duration… I am of course looking for significant permanent gains and not just temporary… Is 5 days a week good? Should I do one 60 minute session? I’ve seen different approaches here… Some say 5 minute sets with short breaks in between…

I can only speak from my experience and my little knowledge.

1. If the tube is a little wider than your erection, that is, if when you pump you don’t pack, you will grow both in length and in girth (for me it’s easier to grow in girth, but we are all different). If you pack the tube, your growth will be in length, since it’s in the only direction that the penis can grow. I recommend a 2 “or 2.25” tube if you want to grow in length and girth, if you want to grow only in length the 1.75 ” tube is fine.

2. I have been doing PE since December of last year, the first months I didn’t notice any gains, but since I incorporated the pump three months ago, my gains have been very good, but I couldn’t tell you that the gains are permanent since I’m still a beginner. My routine is hybrid, jelq and pump, but according to most of the people who have had gains only with pump, the best way is prolonged sessions at low pressure 4-5 Hg, I recommend that you start with a session of 20 minutes a day, see how you feel and increase the sessions, but from experience I warn you, if you get excited because you see gains and you exempt yourself in pressure or time, you will lose your gains and it will take time to win them again. I hope you can understand me, English is not my first language.

When you talk about exempting yourself in pressure or time, are you talking about taking time off, or about ratcheting up the intensity/duration?

I like a nice fit a the base with room to expand in the tube. The snug fit at the base will keep you from sucking in your balls and fat pad . I agree with what @zcero19 says about length and girth gains as it relates to cylinder size. I have experimented with that. I have a 1.75", 2", 2.125" and 2.25". I mostly use the 2" now because I’m 6" at the base and it provides a good seal, plus good expansion in the tube.

Long term gains require a long-term commitment. Even body builders lose muscle mass after some time (years) of inactivity. So I’m starting to adjust my expectations on gains over the long term. I understand and believe that f I do nothing for 18 months, I just might end up right back where I started.

Sorry, typographic error. I mean to EXCEED in pressure or time. The first months I had good gains with 5 maximum 6 HG, but I wanted more, so I increased the pressure to 9-10 Hg for a few days, the result was that I lost the gains that I had achieved and only until these last weeks I recovered the gains.

You should slowly increase the duration and frequency of pumping while maintaining low vacuum pressures.

Something along the lines of:

One 10 minute session a day for a week.

One 15 minute session for a week.

One 20 minute session for a week.

Two 10 minute sessions for a week.

Two 15 minute sessions for a week.

Two 20 minute sessions for a week.

Try to stay in the 2-4 in Hg range and don’t exceed 5 inches of vacuum.

Take your time, increase slowly, and listen to you penis.
